They work just as well horizontally as vertically...as long as you can keep them fed. I've been playing with a way to run one in a Oddy...it works great, but only while the tank is almost full.. I need to figure out a way to get the juice to wick up from the lower part of the wick/NR wire...- NamVet68

I was thinking the same thing. My two hardest-hitting and favorite mechanicals are my #19a (modified) and my solid-brass Chi-Chi (bone stock, other than polished contacts).... the combination of the two could be my perfect MOD! Hopefully, there will be some interest in a Co-op on this one.... -

Yeah, my wicks do gunk up running extracts, but they do the same running other tobacco-based juices also (like Boba's Bounty for instance). I run ceramic wicks and Ribbon Kanthal wire in all my RBAs though (either FC2000 or one I make from Top Fin bubble-stones). After each tankful, I just rinse...- NamVet68

Kick clone aka Sigelei K show and tell
For those with problems with interior tube diameters being too large for a good fit (sloppy fit); a quick/easy/free solution is to take one of the silicon "condoms" that come with cartos or some tank tips (Vivi Novas, etc - I think everyone has a few of those laying around), cut a flat section... -

They go pretty fast when they hit the on-line shops. Vaportekusa had them for a few days, but they are gone now.. Discount Vapers might have a pre-order..but I'm not sure. Your best bet is to try to get on a Co-op, or go to the various Sigelei venders & sign up to be notified when they come back... -

Yep...that's their one weak spot, but the problem is usually caused by attys with a long positive pin & people over-tightening them on the Vamo. If you adjust the center pins on your attys so they are just flush, or only protrude by less than 1mm or so, you will never have that issue.- NamVet68

fc-2000 porous ceramic wick
+1 on the Vamo....one of the best bangs-for-the-buck in the Vaping World at the moment. I have two of them, and they are my workhorses. Tough little suckers to boot. Can't break them (though I've sure tried) ... they just flat work, and keep working.- NamVet68
