    Pipe tobacco and Cigar extraction

No problem... I use a shot-glass and finely chop about two inches of a cigar into it, then just cover it with PG. It normally results in around 10-15 ml of filtered extract (you'll never be able to recover all the PG, but don't worry about it). I then dilute the extract at roughly 10% with VG...

    Pipe tobacco and Cigar extraction

I usually just do my extractions with PG and run mine through two 5 second cycles about five minutes apart, and let them steep overnight before I filter them. That seems to bring out the optimum flavor of the cigar. When I did one five-second cycle & extract right away, though the difference was...

    Pipe tobacco and Cigar extraction

I've tried heating in a pan in the past, but the microwave method produces great results as long as you don't "overcook" it and is far easier to do. Start with about five seconds, and no more than about 10-15 seconds at the most. You don't want it to boil...just heat it to the point where it...

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

The standard length Ready-wires will work, but they are a PIA to wrap around the positive post....the extended ones are far-easier to work with IMHO.

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner...I've been enjoying our Florida weather out at the beach for a few days. It's been in the high 70s-80s...not bad for mid-December :2cool: Anyway...pretty simple to set up the XC-116 wicks in a Kayfun/Russian: I also put a small piece of cotton on the...

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

Stormy's has the plastic sections...I don't know if he ships to the UK, but he has them in stock: (I've also seen the stainless sections on his site before, so you may want to check) Replacement Clear Tank for Hercules Clouds of Vapor in Miami sometimes has the clear & stainless tank sections...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Hopefully not... I still check this thread regularly to find out what people are up to....some great stuff. I've learned more on this thread than 90% of the others I follow. I personally am at the point where I've got the AO White wicks pretty-well down pat, and they last FOREVER. I've got all...

    micro USB powered vaporizer

Nope. You need AT LEAST 3volts to fire a coil...and the amperage to push it as well. Even with a fine wire microcoil would not have enough oomph to vaporize the juice. Amps are just as important as voltage BTW.....

    My Boba's clone

Yep, all my old equipment still works like a champ, the problem is, there are so many new technologies in the RBA/RDA world that I want to try them all (I'm an inveterate tinkerer). Some of the recent bottom-feeder designs are just outstanding (Taifun, Kayfun/Russian, etc). I've always liked...

    Pipe tobacco and Cigar extraction

I'm in the same boat. While my cigar extracts are very nice, and certainly have the flavor profiles of the original cigar, they just don't have the intensity and depth of flavor that I love about the originals. Even using a high concentration of extract to VG/PG, the flavors are muted. An...

The "New " #20 has a threaded center pin, so you can remove it to add/subtract length, or replace it with a longer brass screw: Just take the center pin to a Hardware store & match the threading & buy a bag/box of longer BRASS screws that you can cut to the required length & you're...

    My Boba's clone

When you start loosing your taste, try rinsing your mouth with salt water (about 10% saline solution). Wakes the old buds back up...at least it works for some folks. Some people use other juices or things to cleanse the palate, but for me, saline works fine. I don't mind the taste of salt...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

If you torch your Ekowool before you cut & use it, it won't unravel as easily. It's actually not a bad idea to do it anyway. It makes it easier to work with and cleans all the fuzziness and manufacturing "gunk" off of the stuff. That way, you also don't have to boil it. Its also fun to amuse...

    My Boba's clone

I've said for quite some time that I believe the key to Bobas are tobacco extracts. I haven't ordered any of the "new" batch to compare it to the BB I've got squirreled away. I'm enjoying a couple of the clones as much as the original, so I just dip into my old stash occasionally to compare...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Assuming you are talking about the white rubbing stone & not the aquarium stones - Soak them in lemon juice (either real or the stuff in the plastic "Lemons" at the grocery store) for about a half-hour, rinse again in distilled water, and you should be good to go.

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Yep...just saw it this morning: $12.73 Pulse-G Rebuildable Atomizer ( 2.5mL) at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping Looks like its following the same model also = its 10% of the price of the original. Its to the point now where the clones are almost available faster than getting one from the...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Yep..I think this is the new trend with Vaping gear being developed in the US. The original manufacturer is trying to recoup his expenses and try to make a little profit before the Chinese clone it and take away a huge chunk of their market. Too bad in a way, but you have to face reality...the...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

The 8W works very well right out of the box...no sanding or replacing springs needed- the pins on mine even came silver-plated (a good thing). The only modification I did to mine was to place two nylon washers in the switch to eliminate the wobble: The 18500 tubes are available, but VERY...
