Unflavored Liquid - Who Has The Best?

Yep, I have used both The Flavor Apprentice(Perfumer's Apprentice) and Flavor Art's .....both have excellent flavorings. Mt Baker Vapor is also another one to try.....their flavorings are some of the best IMHO. Don't hesitate trying any of them.

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

Good to hear things are working well for you....nice wrap job! You will notice that the wick will keep improving through the first tankful or so...after that, it will be pretty trouble-free & consistent. Some of the RSSTs leak juice through the 510 connector....I have three of them & two...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

VG gives you better vapor, but less throat hit, and its also a bit sweeter than PG, but it's also a lot thicker. PG also carries flavors better than VG and takes less time to steep, so there are trade-offs. Some people can't tolerate a lot of PG (sore throats) , some cant tolerate a lot of...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

Yeah, it's amazing what a little alcohol added to juices can do for them ...you just have to be careful that you don't overdo it...just a few drops per 5ml can make a big difference. If there's a particular flavor in a juice that I like, a few drops of similarly flavored vodka really takes it to...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

I vape 100% VG almost exclusively with the ceramics (Boba's, Gorilla Juice, and most of my DIYs are at least 90% VG). With a freshly-made wick, I get a dry hit once in a while if I start hitting it too hard, but once they are well broken in (couple of tankfuls), no problem at all. Once the...

    My Boba's clone

When I plug the #7 recipe into my juice calculator, it says to only use 2 drops for 10ML (.87% of total volume). Remember - the recipe is based on 15% flavorings to base , not 15% of total volume. BTW...the vinegar will tone down after a day or two (I've used it in other juices), just leave the...

    My Boba's clone

That threw me for a curve initially also. I usually just go by #of drops of flavor for 5ml of juice and go from there. There's a great free DIY app called ejuice Me Up. Grab it here: eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator Under the "Tools" pull-down menu, there's a tool called "Flavor...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

WOOOOOT!! That's a 26650 battery!!! Wow...that will be some serious hang-time! Very impressive. Are you going to be producing these MODs, or is it just for personal consumption?

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

It's difficult to tell since there is no sense of scale, but would it have something to do with an atty to utilize the new conductive-dipped ceramics? I figured the white thingies in the background would be used for isolating the electrics....

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

I thought of doing that also, but on the Zen video, the domed screw is very close to the bottom of the top cap. When he takes the drip tip off and the camera zooms in, you can see that there is only about a 1/16 inch gap all around, and the dome is larger than the hole, so the vapor has no...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Ok... just playing around with a different take on the "Zen Vortex Principle" concept....more along the lines of the large domed center-post screw Zen described in his video. I just sliced an old silicon disk from a clearo and popped it around the positive post on the RSST to roughly simulate...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Vortex effect? I guess that's why this particular RSST seems to work better than my others. I lost the little silicone plug for the fill hole so I just shaved the threads down on a nylon stand-off and popped it in. It vapes quite differently than the other ones I have... I may have to play...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Yep, one of the first things I did to it (after polishing all the internal contact points - they are brass underneath). I replaced it with a cut-down spring out of a click-pen... I can fire it now with pinky-pressure. Huge difference. :2cool: I also ground down the top of the 510 connector so...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Are you sure it's not just dripping out of the air intake hole ? Mine does that sometimes from the condensation inside the top cap....the RSSTs seem to generate more condensation up top with the ceramics - they hold the heat for longer than the stainless or silica wicks do, and its a pretty...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

At the end of every tank, I flush it out with a couple of syringes of hot water through the fill hole and then dry-burn the coil & wick assembly at about 14 watts to burn all the gunk off (really get the coils glowing a few times), rinse the wick & coil under the tap (after it cools for a couple...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

The original one I got has never leaked at all, however the last two I got did. Easy fix though: I wrapped the threads of the center post as well as the positive post screw with a couple of turns of Teflon tape (available in the Plumbing section of your local hardware store). No leaks since...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Ok...here's another possibility for the tank seals. If you take one of these & cut them in half horizontally, you should have two grommets that should work with a 20-22mm tube (either 13/16 or 7/8 inch are right about the correct diameter). Depending on how "squishy" they are, they might do the...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Actually, a simpler solution would be to use the silicon tank grommets for the newer AGA-T2. They look like they would be just about perfect for this setup (with a 20mm tube). They are right about 20-21mm at the top edge, and the inner "step" is 15mm at its widest point, so you could easily use...
