    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

Well, for one thing - the battery vent holes are where the vent holes for the atty should be, so if you use an atty that draws from the base (like an Odysseus or Penelope) you are sucking air from the battery chamber....look at an original Chi -you (or a proper clone, like Hcigars) and you will...

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

The same thing will happen if you have a bad o-ring on the top nut. The Ithaka/Oddy uses a partial vacuum in the juice chamber as part of its design. it keeps the juice from seeping out . When you fill it with juice and tighten down the top nut, there is a slight overpressure for a few pulls, so...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

I've never understood Sigeleis thought process'. Some of their design decisions are just plain terrible. The #13a is one of my favorite MODs...then they "improved" it & turned it to crap (#13b). I've got every iteration of the #20 (Version 1, V2, & V3) and though I love the form factor - they...

    My Boba's clone

Here in the US - most table vinegar is Malt Vinegar...at least in all the places I've been to. Its the only thing my wife likes on her fries...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Only 41 flavors??? I have well over 100, with the "same" flavors from multiple vendors (yes, many are significantly different). :D I'm now in the process of experimenting with different vendors of VG, and surprisingly discovering that while vaping the pure VG itself has subtle variations of...

    Wizard Labs Fans- (Recipes Only)

There are a number of "Sweeteners" available from many vendors, but most are based on EM (Ethyl Maltol) or Sucralose. TFA sells pure EM crystals which you can dissolve in PG, VG, or Distilled Water (about 1gram/10ml, or until saturated) to make your own sweetener, or buy it already diluted...

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

If the brass has any lead in it, it's not a good idea to have it come in contact with the juice. Brass is an alloy of copper & zinc, with other metals added depending on intended use, including lead. Lead can be toxic, even in relatively small quantities...you DO NOT want to inhale it. The...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Just a heads-up...looks like the Chinese have now started cloning the Kayfun/Russian: $21.37 SvoeMesto Kayfun V3.1 ES Rebuildable Atomizer (4.5mL) - stainless steel at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping ...even down to the logo

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

I use Ekowool exclusively now in my Ithakas/Oddys, and they all work well - 2mm hollow, 2mm solid, and 1.5mm "Twix" (cotton sleeved with Ekowool). For me the Ekowool works far better than regular silica - wicks better (especially the Twix) and lasts forever. The only disadvantage of the Twix...

16 gauge copper works for me. The simplest way to get it is go to an electronics/electrical supply/hardware store and get some 16guage electrical copper wire & strip the insulation off of it. Make sure it's multi-strand twisted wire as in the photos, not solid copper...the finer strand wire is...

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

Stormy's just started offering ready-wires using Kanthal A1 (round & ribbon) instead of the the Nikrothal wire. HUGE difference in flavor IMHO. While the Nikrothal ready-wires are convenient, they always gave me a metallic funky flavor that just turned me off...I went back to building my own...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

I don't need to lock my 8W switch, even with an RSST or even an Oddy on it (pretty heavy atty). The only issue is that it wobbles a bit when you set it down, but if you throw in a couple of nylon/Delrin washers, its very stable. Overall, it's a pretty nice bottom-fire setup.

    Pipe tobacco and Cigar extraction

Mainly to extend coil life....the flavor is not really affected by doing the additional filtering - at least not any that I've been able to detect, but my coils last 2-3X longer without having to dry-burn if I run my extracts through an additional .4 or .2 Micron filter. Just my experience....

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Some folks have been successful running straight bar wicks in the Kayfun/Russian by wrapping the coil around the ceramic wick, mounting the wick across the air hole as usual, screwing on the lower "chimney" section & then packing the area around the wick with cotton - making sure the ends of the...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Though having various power tools makes it easier and less time-intensive, you don't need fancy specialized equipment to make these things. Even though I have bench grinders, presses, metal/wood/stone saws, and & other stuff lying around, I just use a Dremel & a diamond disk (and water) to make...

    Chi you clone

I just got my Brass Chi-You from FT yesterday (the one with the "Black Box")..... It's pretty good -nice tube threads & machining, and on-par with the Stainless CY I got from them a few weeks ago (the "Engraved" version). They are both probably from Hcigar....but the Brass version's engraving...

    Pipe tobacco and Cigar extraction

Fill the syringe & push the pre-filtered liquid into your storage bottle (after filtering through a cotton ball or coffee filter to get the big junk out). They are re-usable for a few times if you back-flush them (reverse it & pump clean water through it). When it gets difficult to push your...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

IMHO, if you like a bottom-fire button, just get one of the newer #19 (either brass or stainless). The new ones have all the bugs with the switch & magnets worked out...just remove the top spring [Easy] (or leave it in if you only want to run 18350 mode), and you are done. If you like the...

    My Boba's clone

If you use eJuice-me-up, it has a calculator built in to do this. Just look under "Tools" - Flavor Percentage". Put in the % of flavor you are shooting for (first box - in his case - 15% ), then plug in the percentages from Slohand's list in the order you have them in the recipe, hit "Calculate"...
