    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

I have the exact same MOD and a couple of RSSTs and I run it with the Panny batts all the time. .... you should be quite happy with it. One of Sigelei's better mechanicals & works very well right out of the box, but put a little Noalox on the threads and the internal face of the firing pin & it...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

I store my wicks in a medicine bottle of PG after I make them and clean them up (Ultrasonic cleaner - I usually make up about three or four at a time) and they require almost no break-in time now. I use the Petar-K method to wrap the coils, and all I do is wipe them down before I "screw" them...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Considering that they last forever (unless you break them - and you will at first)....that's enough for a lifetime supply. Cheaper than Silica/Ekowool/Stainless mesh/Hemp, etc in the long run, and the vape quality is orders-of-magnitude better than any of them (IMHO).

    My Boba's clone

Actually, while taste is totally subjective, it's not that far off IMHO. Many British beers are very malty/bready and some are quite sweet. I can see where he gets a lemon Shandy with a bit of coffee/tobacco flavor from Bobas. Comparing flavors is always somewhat dependent on what flavors you...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Just use diamond-coated wheels & keep the stone as wet as you can & it will cut like butter. The only time you want it dry is when you do the very final smoothing. I just have a large pan of water sitting on the table that I use to dunk the stone to rinse the accumulated "mud" off & keep it wet...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Here you go...this is the stuff I use: Bon 14-831 8-Inch by 2-Inch by 1-Inch 60 Grit Aluminum Oxide Tile Setters Stone and Rub Brick, White - Amazon.com BTW... if they are out of stock, look for others on Amazon, there are a few others that sell this stone....but stick with the 60 grit - the...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Unfortunately, that's not the way the Chinese work. They wait until someone builds a successful design, then they clone it for a fraction of the price. Apparently , copyrights are not enforceable when dealing with the Chinese. It's scary sometimes- I recently saw where they came out with a clone...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

It's really hard to say - even some of the Sigelei tubes don't interchange with the #20. Most of the Sigelei tubes are interchangeable between various models (like the #19 #29, 8W & Bagua clone, and others) , but the #20 tube has slightly different external dimensions and is threaded...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

I don't have a Magneto, but I have three #20s. If I'm not mistaken, the Magneto is a bottom firing MOD, while the Sigelei #20 is a top (side) firing button, so you might be dealing with apples & oranges....

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

They look great together! Very appropriate - the Russians have always been famous for their "Style" ~ Early Industrial (otherwise known as "Farm Implement"). :D BTW- not knocking it - I love my Kalashnikovs :)

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Nice! My problem is: Motorcycles (down to five now, including three Harleys) Treasure hunting (spending a lot of time at the beach with my metal detectors - but that kind of pays for itself) Militarily collectables (militaria) from all eras (but primarily pre-WWI) Antique trucks & performance...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Yep, I've heard great things about the "Russian" - which is supposedly a Kayfun clone. The Kayfun design has always had the reputation of providing one of the best vapes in the business, but the Russian "clone" looks like they out-did Kayfun in the process. I keep eying them, but the prices...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

Just another quick note; I stuck a Kick in there (18650 tube with an 18500 battery) - works like a charm. The tubes might have been made for a Kick to begin with, but that still doesn't explain why the 18350 tube has the same problem. They were both made just about 4-5mm too long.... With all...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

I didn't cut the main tubes. I was referring to the length of brass tubing I cut to make the "spacer" for the main positive post screw (the little tube in the center of the first picture). I went back to the original post & (hopefully) clarified that. Cutting the main tubes would basically...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

Just a quick & dirty fix for the battery rattle/ potential top screw failure. All I did was cut a piece of brass tubing and inserted a silicon seal from an AGA-T to keep it centered, and screwed it back onto the base. The tubing forms a "stiffening" collar and when screwed in firmly (not...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

I got mine today also (brass one). I'm afraid I have to agree with you on every point....and then some. After almost two months of waiting for this pig - I'm supremely disappointed. They said the reason for the delay was to make this MOD superior to others....If this is the result, I'd hate to...

    My Boba's clone

I've never tried the XC-116 material, but I use Ekowool (which is a woven ceramic) in my Oddys/Ithakas/RDA & Kanger heads. In my Genesis attys, I make my own ceramic wicks from Aluminum Oxide rub bricks: Bon 14-831 8-Inch by 2-Inch by 1-Inch 60 Grit Aluminum Oxide Tile Setters Stone and Rub...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

Ekowool is sized differently than most silica. The 2mm is actually closer to 3mm+ and might be a little tight in a Kanger head, and may be blocking your juice flow. The fact that is swells quite a bit when wet may also be exacerbating your situation. BTW - The replacement heads are all the same...

    My Boba's clone

Taste is subjective. I've never tasted cherry in Boba's, and I've vaped it in Gennys with ceramic & SS wicks, Oddys/Ithakas with silica & Ekowool wicks, and EVODs & Protanks, RDAs & drippers, and Killer (Bottom Feeder) attys. While there are subtitle differences in flavor between them all, and...
