DIY Master Techniques - Flavor Add-on's (EM, VW, BW, MTS, ACV, ect)

Yes.....but the size, or number of drops is not that important. At a .9% solution, you can barely taste the salt in the solution itself, and you can't taste the salt in the juice at all, even if you go overboard (within reason)....at least in my personal experience. It's like baking - you...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

Chinese quality control. I've had heads out of the same blister-pack that were perfect & last forever, and another one that was total trash within a day or two.....& some went right in the trash after less than one tank of juice because I couldn't get rid of the burnt rubber, or metallic tastes...

I guess you could try freezing the button (at least overnight) and hope the brass constricts more than the magnet. Another possibility would be a strong electromagnet to yank it out (or blow it out if the fields are reversed). As a last resort - find a hole saw of the right diameter (just the...

DIY Master Techniques - Flavor Add-on's (EM, VW, BW, MTS, ACV, ect)

You can add as much as you like, but it only takes a drop or two/10ml to do the job. I think replacing the DW with saline would be overkill, and much more expensive. JMHO...

DIY Master Techniques - Flavor Add-on's (EM, VW, BW, MTS, ACV, ect)

Typically, Marshmallow is a good sweetener to use to help overcome dryness. I also use a few drops of saline solution per 10 ml in my DIYs which also works well. The stuff I use is .9% Sterile Saline solution used for babies (Clenoz), but any pharmaceutical grade saline will work. At these low...

If the magnet is stuck where I think it is (where the switch spring was originally) you should be able to tap it out through the holes in the switch housing (the vent holes). Just tap lightly & alternate between the two holes & it should pop right out. Good luck....

Just a quick fix for the 8W "Bobblehead" problem when you use a softer spring. This eliminates about 90% of the switch wobble, and its easy to do. Just get two 5/8 inch Nylon washers - most have 3/8 in centers, which are perfect. you will have to turn the outer diameter down by about 1mm - I...

    Nickel Foam?!?

Tried this on one of my RSSTs & a fresh White Wick last night. I snapped two wicks in the process but finally got everything lined up properly, The one-piece tank is tricky when you are trying to finagle the wick through a coil (Petar-K method) and into the mesh - I broke the wick every time I...

    My Boba's clone

Sounds like a nice vape.. I wouldn't get too hung up on matching the color of Boba's though...you are after flavor - not esthetics. My primary "tobacco base" (Scubabatdan's recipe: TOB506 Commercial Cigarette Concentrate, Cotton Candy, and Tobacco Absolute-Pure), when diluted to 10%, is almost...

    Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)

I have both of them (the FastTech & the RH). While they are both very nicely made, and the parts interchange, the RH Ithaka has a slight edge IMHO....it just fits together a little more smoothly, and with an Ithaka -that's important - lots of little fiddly-bits that have to thread together. BTW...

Removing the spring (and the tiny screw that holds it in) actually makes it more stable (IMHO)...one less thing in the current path. The backside of the positive post/pin will just sit directly on top of the Kick/CHIck top disk. The only downside to removing the spring is that you can't run it...

There should be no difference between the 19 a & b other than the Nzonic head. The problems Todd had with the b & the Kick was the top spring setup. If you remove the spring - it works fine (I have Nzonic heads - with the top spring removed - on both my A & E). If your Kick isn't working, be...

    Sigelei Mechnical Mods

Both of my 19s (A & E) have the Sigelei-Ks (Kick clone) in them - they work perfectly, as long as you put it together in the original configuration and REMOVE THE TOP SPRING!. If you reverse the config (510 end & button switched), they wont work right because the lower tube is larger in diameter...

Generous offer....I just got a response from John @ Vaportek about mine, he just told me to send it back for a refund. I asked if they would email me a pre-paid shipping label like they did when they screwed up a previous order (they sent me a Stainless #19 when I ordered a Brass one), but...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

Nope...Not bad at all. Here's a 1.8 Ω RES/NR Kanger coil on 1.5mm Ekowool: Plenty of room....It's only 5 wraps of the resistance wire on the wick (for the 1.8 Ω). I wrap them with a small pin under the Ekowool (after torching) and just wrap them up starting with the RES wire on the wick &...

Sigelei #19 Tips, tricks, and DON'Ts

Yes I did, though the stock head (with one flavor wick removed) worked quite well. It's like rolling dice with the stock heads - sometimes you get a good one, sometimes they taste funky & don't wick well.... even from the same package. I'm currently running a head that I made with a 1.5mm...
