Yes.....but the size, or number of drops is not that important. At a .9% solution, you can barely taste the salt in the solution itself, and you can't taste the salt in the juice at all, even if you go overboard (within reason)....at least in my personal experience. You can add as much as you like, but it only takes a drop or two/10ml to do the job. I think replacing the DW with saline would be overkill, and much more expensive. JMHO...- NamVet68

Typically, Marshmallow is a good sweetener to use to help overcome dryness. I also use a few drops of saline solution per 10 ml in my DIYs which also works well. If the magnet is stuck where I think it is (where the switch spring was originally) you should be able to tap it out through the holes in the switch housing (the vent holes). Just tap lightly & alternate between the two holes & it should pop right out. Good luck.... -

Hercules Rebuildable Atomizer (Ithaka Clone)
I have both of them (the FastTech & the RH). While they are both very nicely made, and the parts interchange, the RH Ithaka has a slight edge IMHO....it just fits together a little more smoothly, and with an Ithaka -that's important - lots of little fiddly-bits that have to thread together. Removing the spring (and the tiny screw that holds it in) actually makes it more stable (IMHO)...one less thing in the current path. The backside of the positive post/pin will just sit directly on top of the Kick/CHIck top disk. The only downside to removing the spring is that you can't run it... -
