When using a lighter to "bur off junk" should it turn the wire black? The black seems to wipe right off. Also, I am wrapping one but the coils don't want to stay close together? (Sure seems easier in the videos LOL)- Angiebubs

And what would be the safest ohms reading or starting out? Like 1.2 -1.4 ohms? Just wondering how I know if its safe to actually use? Also, once you have a good one made, do you just replace the cotton? or do you replace the whole thing?- Angiebubs

My egos tend to last anywhere from 5 months to over a year and it seems to be based on the individual batteries not so much where they are from or how much used. Virgin Vapor and Free State Vapor are both diacetyl free-I've confirmed..and I believe it states it on their websites. However, in what I have been reading about this....there are many other things that can break down and become diacetryl....and that isn't often addressed by vendors. -

So I had to make a stop at Walmart-no sterile cotton roll....only gauze. SO I remembered someone saying something about Peaches and Cream yarn? So this is just the rolls of gauze? Like for bandages? Also did you see my post last night about the type of wire I have? Will that work? Kanthal wire one is round I think 32 gauge? And the other was a flat wire. This is actually starting to interest me! I will plan on watching some videos after...
