    It is.... we haven't worked on version 3 yet. Saturday morning most likely. The new one will be the same as #2 but won't flair out at the top. The stitch I chose for the sides is bigger than the one on the bottom... so I have to figure out some decreases to make it stay the size of the base...

    Rebuilding coil question

    longer the piece of wire, the higher the ohms so if you are adding an extra loop to a build, it will raise the ohms. If you remove a loop, it will lower the ohms.

    The loop counting doesn't sit well with me either. each type/gauge wire has a 'typical' resistance per length. I know that I need 1.5" of the ribbon gauge I use to get the resistance I want. I cut a 2" piece off my spool and leave the legs long enough to trim about .25" off each once mounted...
