I'm hunting for a good solid wood acoustic... at a reasonable price. Any recommendations? I really like the Seagull stuff, but never made the leap.

More of my local landmarks and childhood memories are gone. Kohr's Custard in Seaside burned down taking a huge chunk of the surrounding business's and boardwalk with it.

So I have the Oct 10th appointment for a color session I'm waiting for.... and now I just booked a session for Nov 14th last night too. It will be either for a continuation of the color work or for the Humanist/Atheist concept I posted.
Lots of people assume the Atheist symbol is an Anarchy one. I get that a lot myself. I'm getting a similar tattoo on my inner right forearm... but with the Humanist symbol too.
It will be the session after my coloring session on Oct 10th. Most likely in December.

There definitely is! It looks like I've got my build slot with Brett. Unfortunately it doesn't look like I will actually get to play it until mid 2015... but that is the burden of having a custom built by an 'in demand' master. He is quoting a longer time frame than my other 3 customs, but he...

My 3 main basses are custom to my specs, I've been thinking about having a guitar to match added to the mix.
My first good bass was a Destroyer (Metallic red with a white split P pickup and rosewood board), my dream bass at the time was the pointy Alembic John Entwistle played in...

I'm gonna go crazy waiting for the next session... I'll definately post a follow up here. James had originally said the end of Oct, but when he pulled up his calendar there was one slot on the 10th open so I grabbed it! He usually works Mon-Thur noon to 8pm.
Here is James's facebook. He...
Thanks Robin. I go to Tattooville on Fischer in Toms River. I had Dave do my first bee as a 'walk in' while there with my wife (Paul Davis does her stuff). He split for GA after loosing his home to Sandy. James Kastel did my recent work (my favorite artist @ the shop), I should have waited...
