I drive a 1993 K1500 Blazer, the wife a 1994 K1500 Suburban (both slightly lifted and built)... my dream vehicle currently is a 1969-1972 GMC Jimmy. I work for a Corvette and classic muscle car restro shop these days. Always surrounded by 50s-70s cars... I'll take my 93 Blazer over most of them.
I work music into everything... just taking a break from jamming with others. Life is definitely a balancing act!
I was 46 and my wife 39 when our daughter was born... still plenty of time for you :) We had never wanted kids, then 5-8 years in we were "meh, if it happens... so be it". We...
I'm so busy with my 11 month old and moving into my house after 5 years of 'on again off again' remodeling / renovations / repairs... my playing is down to about 5 hours a week of wood shedding. Trying to use the time to improve upon my theory and mechanics. After the holidays I'm itching to...
Where did everyone go? this thread use to be fairly active...
Been writing and woodshedding when I can, but listening more than playing. Sarah Jarosz has been in my head the last couple days
a loose bridge pin is likely a cheaper fix then paying to ship the guitar back and forth to Sweetwater. I'd take it local and tell them check it out. Explain that if it is a routine fix... do it, if it is major you intend to ship it for warranty repair.
Is there anything that doesn't beat politics on television?
not off the top of my head, but I'll hit youtube tomorrow.
People definitely have... I have nothing recent or decent to share video wise... but it is Friday night and I feel like embarrassing myself... so how about old band...
Without going into too much detail, it is a blended preamp design that has seperate EF806 and 6SL7 signal paths each with a unique tone stack and gain control. I plan to mate it to a pair of KT66, KT88, or KT120 for 50, 100 or 150 watt versions as well as a preamp only version. In theory it...

I hit youtube with all the names you mentioned... good stuff, I believe I have seen all of them in the past, but not familiar enough to recall the names. I love that style of play, my Grandfather was a guitarist from 9 until death... both kinds Country AND Western ;) (his joke not...
The canned tomatoes are 28oz cans and the paste is 6oz. I make it with just fresh tomatoes too, but that increases the cooking time to about 6-8 hours.
Missing from the recipe is I also add about 20oz of water too when the canned tomatoes go in.
I have MANY... I'm a big fat guy in his 40s that grew up a latch key kid tasked with cooking family meals and worked in NJ Pizzerias in my youth as well as line cook and short order cook. I have 'guidelines' more than strict recipes but have recently been hounded for my tomato sauce & meatball...
Synths have come a LONG way, and if I was a touring keyboardist... I would have a digital piano with Rhodes tones AND a digital B3. I got my Rhodes from my kb player of the day who had finally had it lugging the thing and bought a very legitimate digital replacement. I got rid of the B3 for...
I'm more of a Hammond and Rhodes kind of guy... Owned a mid 60s B3 (with Leslie) and an early 70s EightyEight (with speaker cabinet base... guts removed for a hotrodded preamp, I used an old 70s Ampeg bass head to drive the speakers). Only keyboard I have now is an old console piano... not that...

I always had power trios over the years... slightly prog, slightly jazz, slightly funk... but really just classic rock power trio based. In 1989 when I was looking to expand my chord voicing abilities, I ordered a Carvin LB75 that I sent them Ultra light Rotosounds to use in its final...
Thanks, the 7 is from Bee Basses, the 5 and 6 are from Benavente Guitars... I had all 3 built to my specs, the 5 & 6 were 12 & 11 back, the 7 was 9 years back. The 4 string and the regular guitar are both 1983 Ibanez. The upright is a 15ish year old Engelhardt.
I just ordered a 6 string bass...
Hey all, glad to see this thread is still moving along... How's everyone been? I'm still vaping, playing, and living. Just kinda forgot this forum was around.
A grooming shop owner with a dog aggressive large breed dog that refuses to accept responsibility for damages caused by her dog... get a lawyer and have the wife take the Vet up on the job offer ASAP.
Unless your wife had an written or unwritten agreement that your dog was brought in at her...
Old project has resurfaced for me... I saw a post on a bass forum from someone looking for a body. I remembered I had acquired this a decade ago, briefly considered letting it go, and then was corrected by the boss to the fact I should finish it myself.
I have a hipshot Ric 4003 replacement...
