    I'm not trying to enter this market if that's what you're getting at ;) But, still, it's a battery a bit of wire. It's not complicated stuff. The liquid (or gel? haven't taken one apart, personally) is the key IMHO, but even that will be figured out soon, if through nothing but trial and error.

    IMHO, replace the tanks when they start leaking liquid into the wrong parts of the tank (where air flows) or if the hole gets large enough that it's leaking out the tip as it sits on the spike. For me, both start happening after 3 or 4 days usually, but sometimes sooner.
