    I think for the most part these are small businesses we're dealing with and although growing a somewhat competitive marketplace. I'd say if you have questions give them a call, or send an email and talk to them. If you're not comfortable with them don't buy from them.

    I haven't done it, but you could use tape as has been suggested, or wrap a wide rubber band around it a couple times. Also you could take a paint marker and mark it up to help you see where its set if you don't mind uglying it up a bit.

    I should have said insulin syringes, the needles come with it. The point of that is that a U-100 insulin syringe has 0.01-mL graduations so it's the cheapest thing I know of to measure in the microliter range.

    I've done coffee, tea and tobacco. I just used as little liquid as possible, with the idea that you'll get the most concentrated flavor that way.
