    In theory it should cool them faster, since the drip tip would heat up it's spreading the heat to a larger mass which will have more surface area to cool. An aluminum drip tip would be much better for cooling aluminum is a much better conductor of heat.

    I have three NHaler clearos, and I'm very happy with them. The only others I've used are the SI ones. The replaceable heads are a key. I pop off a head, drop in in alcohol to soak, put on a new head, so there's zero down time and always clean wicks and coils.
