These days I would spend a little bit more on your kit. A subtank mini will give you the option to use stock coils or rebuild...either way a significant upgrade from Kanger's older stuff.
As for your device, I'd consider an istick 30w or 50w or, better yet, a sigelei mini 30w. Any of these...
Can't go wrong with either the Sigelei 100w or 50w (or 30w). It's just a question of how much power/overhead you want to buy right now vs. size. A good functional approach would be to run your subtank on a Sigelei 50w v2 or IPV mini V2.
And no, these regulated boxes are not pipebombs.
Bad news: Mech mods and noobs do not mix well.
Good news: The new high-wattage regulated boxes are taking the place of mech mods.
Advice: Up your budget a bit and take a hard look at the sigelei 100w plus box. You should be able to find it under $80. It'll be an awesome device that will...
Check ebay for an EH Pro Veritas clone. It's not the easiest to build on at first but it is noob friendly in the sense that it has a deep well and does not tend to leak--thus it is very pocket friendly and can replace your tanks as a daily carry.
The easiest build is a single coil placed...
I absolutely love my sigelei 50w v2, and I found it for $60. I would also recommend the sig mini 30w.
Do not buy the Cloupor. I have an older cloupor device and it's junk.
Speaking of the Sigelei 50w v2, the primary thing is being able to get into a yihi sx330 board for overall performance at price point. The secondary thing is the machined aluminium box itself. Keep in mind I found mine for $60. Obviously the mvp 30w and istick become more attractive if you...
The Sigelei mini 30w or Sigelei 50w v2 easily beats em both in terms of build quality and performance.
The only advantage to istick is battery capacity and, at that, i'd just buy an extra 18650 for your Sigelei.
I've had my sig 50 v2 for almost a month and I'm loving it. It's not the tiniest device but it is pocketable--and I'll take the hit on size to get excellent build quality and performance.
The only drawback (besides the wavy lines which are ugly) is that now I want a 100w or 150w sig to drive...
There is no single, silver-bullet vendor that will replace FT. If you want good prices domestically, you're going to have to do the research and hunt around for the products you want.
