    vamo?

My Stainless Steel VAMO V2 has been rock-solid. I have a Lavatube 2 also, and while its nice, the VAMO is a better value for the $$ IMHO. Check Youtube ...there are tons of video reviews of the VAMO. Here's Pbustardo's review of the earlier model: http://youtu.be/D3lUnwV4_h4 If you are...

    Favorite vv mod?

I have a Lavatube 2 also & it's a nice VV, I use mine every day & I'm happy with it, but for the dollars spent, get a VAMO. I use the VAMO more than the LT2. Its just as nice (better in some ways) & takes the same batteries, charger, and all the accessories as the LT2......and runs about $50 in...

What Does 100% VG Taste Like?

I don't know of any pre-built attys with SS wicks (other than "bridged" dripping atomizers like the 306), but you can get an RBA (rebuildable atomizer) and make your own Stainless Steel wicks and coils quite easily...there are many threads here on these forums, and tons of videos on Youtube...

What Does 100% VG Taste Like?

In a way, it's like asking "what does a candy bar taste like?" ...While VG has a subtle flavor, it depends on where it came from, how pure it is, and what plants were used to produce it. The flavor is very much in the background anyway, so it's really no big deal. A couple of things to keep in...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Hey Dan; what if you used a collet arrangement to hold the wick - something like this: Cut-Off Wheels If you could find one to match the thread pitch of the bolt you are using (or an adapter), it would be a no-brainer. Just a thought....

If you were forced to choose only one juice to vape for the rest of your life...

Another vote for Boba's... I have an AGA-T2 dedicated to BB, and I'm always inadvertently grabbing it even when I'm vaping something else. I'm still trying to match it with a DIY, but so far, it's been an elusive beast..... close, but there are so many subtleties in Boba's that I just can't...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Here's about the best price on DID mini clones I've seen lately: Vulcan (DID Clone) - Rebuildable Atomizer Tank (Clear Tank) (he also has them with the steel tanks for a buck less) I have two of them myself - pretty well made, comes with everything you need to get started (Stainless...

    Former Smokers>>>

In my 35+ years of smoking, I tried just about every brand. I smoked Luckys, Pal Mals, and English Ovals [God, I loved those things] (unfiltered) for at least fifteen years, and "cut back" by smoking Winstons & later some of the "light" smokes & Menthols. I still smoke cigars, so I enjoy those...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Yep, in order to complete the circuit, the negative post has to touch the wire (as in your second illustration). It should only glow/get hot between the negative & positive post (but that's all that's needed). The real beauty and simplicity of his setup is that the negative post also supports...

    Hour Glass Driptip?

Ive never seen an acrylic or rubber DT like that, but the Ming or Vase-type DTs are very similar in shape & I find them very comfortable. Here's a Goggle image search that might help you find one you like: (just click on an image & you can go to the website)...

    Ss mesh wicking

I used tightly-wound solid #400 & #500 SS wicks (70mm) in my AGA-T2 for quite a while and didn't have problems with them at all (I've since switched it to a ceramic wick) ... and that was with Boba's Bounty (100% VG). A couple of key factors though - as suggested above - leave the fill hole...

    Saving money....

Once you get the hardware you like (a never-ending quest) you can save a lot of money by getting an RBA (rebuildable Atomizer) and learning to make your own coils & wicks (not that difficult to do - there are many sub-forums on this site & How-to videos on Youtube), and after that look into...

Just Need the Cap to a Zen U

Bad stuff...been there also. I'm not that familiar with the ZAU, but they do sell an Open draw top cap on their website for the Zenesis...don't know if it will fit or not: https://houseofhybrids.3dcartstores.com/ZenesisZ-Atty-Open-Draw-Top-Cap_p_42.html If it wont work, they also have a list of...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

That's where I got my Kanthal Ribbon from (.5 X .1mm). I got it in less than a week.... he even threw in a little silica wick for a little freebee. Good guy to deal with. I've only used it in a dripping atty so far (IGO-L) to give it a try ...a real bear to work with in that small an area, but...

    fc-2000 porous ceramic wick

I doubt that there would be problems with the Magnesium in a wick - while Magnesium is nasty stuff in it's pure form, I would think that it would be exposed to much higher temperatures during the sintering process than it ever would be in an atty. But then, what do I know - I'm not a materials...

The Next Big thing.... Porous Ceramic Wicks

Are you sure those have 1/8 inch holes? I picked mine up at Home Depot ...it was about $24 bucks (+ you need to buy the EZ Lock bit if you don't have one).....it definitely has 1/8 inch holes. Here it is on Amazon: Dremel EZ545 1-1/2-Inch EZ Lock Diamond Wheel - Amazon.com Have fun....

Let's see your Original/Strange/Cool/Different Drip Tips!!!!

If you like dripping, many of them allow you to drip onto the atomizer coils without removing the tip. A lot of it is also the "cool" factor, however, some of the tips are really comfortable in the mouth....much more so than the standard plastic tips. Just get yourself a large Ming or Vase-type...
