I let the maceration steep in mason jars. From there I put dump it into a cheap french press. That keeps all of the large bits of tobacco out of the next step. I purchased a 125ml Büchner flask w/ Büchner funnel for about $25 shipped on eBay. I then grabbed a 20% coupon and purchased this as my...
Anyone worked to convert "drops" to mL or µl?
Based upon the recipe here It appears that 9 drops = .216mL or .024mL (24µl) per drop.
I'm hoping that is accurate because I've got a 25µl micropipette that I'd love to put to use.
This suspense is killing me! I've got 90 15ml bottles filled with 10ml of 12mg nic base. Just finished putting on the labels that were created using the flavors list.
Now all I need is the actual flavors!
I had a request to make the spreadsheet available for download so that you guys/gals could edit/customize it to fit your tasting/tracking needs.

In the brewing world quickest to longest extraction times go like this.
Wood dust/powder >wood chips>wood...
Finalized my second order. Total of 89 flavors on their way!
Any on here that you guys/gals haven't tried yet?

When using smaller barrels, less is more. These smaller barrels have more surface area so you would need less time.
Honestly I'd use oak chips first. Most homebrewing stores should have them.
