VV Gripper by SmokTech Review
You're more reasonable than I am. :) The Gripper is a 3amp single battery clone of VV Ovale V8 at double the price, $60 over $30. And what make it worth twice the price? They advertise it as a 4amp APV. :) Errol- Errol

Hate to be the first :) but when the LR DC Cartos first came out most sites warned against using 3.7v devices under a given mah?? rating as the amp draw was too much for some batteries. I personally never could get a decent vape from them with anything under 4.5v but a lot of people were pretty...- Errol

Young June has been selling a lot of their LT clones with claims of them being 4amp units. So far their have been at least 5 vendors that have had to back off the 4amp claim due to the fact they are actually 3amp units. Be sure you get confirmation from whoever you may want to buy from that they... -

I like my eGo units, they have been trouble free and dependable. That said they are used in rotation with about five other units and they just sit on a desk when not in use, their lives have been pretty easy. :) Errol- Errol

Thanks Davon. I get 4.6v on a DC 1.6ohm carto using a battery fresh off the charger. Unfortunately our numbers put the Gripper at 3amp or less, not the 4amps Smoktech is claiming. Will do a little more testing with different ohm atomizers but I doubt it will ever get over 3amp. Errol -

What voltage do you get if you set the gripper at 5.5v Davon? Does it still vape at 5v with your 1.4ohm carto? Errol -

Hope it vapes for me as well is it vapes for you as I have one coming in. Got the Rope recommended by VapnJ and some Kanthal so should be ready to go in a couple of weeks.
