I couldn't swear to anything in that regard except my results with various error checks. I put the Inline Volt Reader on the V1.5 together with an adapter enabling me to connect a VOM to read the voltage. The IVR always matched the VOM reading. Have read several speak of pressing the power button 5 or 6 times to determine if their unit has a problem. Do you mean push the Big Button (the power button) or the Menu Button, the small button beneath the + an - buttons? Errol -

Good post Salky. Just a minor point about quality and performance, A $44 MadVapes VV Box Mod with voltage readout will perform as well an any expensive VV unit on the market and better than many of the wannabes. They aren't pretty and a nuisance to adjust the voltage but as long as the batteries... -

That's where the amp rating comes in Kaleb. If you buy a 3 or 4ohm atty or carto the V1 LT will vape at 6v but if you want to vape a 1.5ohm unit you will have to settle for much lower voltage, it's Ohms law. :) Errol -

All I know for sure is the unit advertised as 4amp at Vapor Alley is not a 4amp unit, it is a dressed up V1.5 with a max of 3amp. Whether or not these two vendors have the true 4amp unit, I don't know. The ones buying from Vapor Beast seemed satisfied, but do your homework before making a... -

I assume when you say switch you mean the power button. On all the current models of VV units I'm aware of the power switch just activates the circuitry so there is minimal current present at the switch so there is no 4amp switch involved. Not sure what you mean by 3.2amp regulator, that is... -

Depends on what you're vaping Tex. My favorite carto is a 1.6ohm DC clearo and 13watts just barely brings up a decent vapor and flavor when they are new, higher as they age. As I recall you are pretty happy using a 3.7v battery with the Echo DC cartos whereas I needed at least 4.5v to get... -

You are absolutely right Tex, V1 will accomplish satisfactory vaping for most vapers and V1.5 will cover most of those not satisfied with V1. That said, what drives so many of us to spend all this money on the latest and the greatest, whether it be vaping or golfing or any other hobby for that... -

Received my "V1.5-t Tube Only (4 Amp Circuit)" from VaporAlley today and my worst concerns have been confirmed, it is a V1.5 and not a 4amp unit. The best it can do is 13.2 watts and 2.88 amps, very little better than the two I'm returning to Penny's. None of them even close to the 3.2amps for...
