Hi again Rachel, LavaTube versions as I understand them. V1=2.5amp, V1.5=3amp, and V2=4amp All of the Varitubes (LavaTubes) listed on this page at IVape are V1 2.5amp=12watts except the Varitube X that is V2 at 4amps. As far as I can see they don't list a V1.5... -

You lost me on that one Rachel! :) I found the "version 2.0" on the IVape site but what site did you see V3 listed, all I've seen listed at any site is V2? I'm hoping V3 will be the one with the eGo threading. Errol -

The LT is 3oz with battery and the VariStack is 2.3oz with batteries. The vendors say it's 2amp but the testing I've done indicates it's much closer to 2.5amp, same as the V1 LT and I can assure you it beats the LT hands down for comfort. I have a mini review on the Vendors site that explains... -

I think your conclusions are far closer to being correct than what I had concluded. Probably the biggest problem I'm having with the V1.5 LT is I don't seem able to get a comparable vape at any setting when compared with my cheap Mad Vapes box mods that I know are correct as all three of mine... -

Your understanding is correct however after reading Carltons comments I'm not sure my VOM is giving me good information due to the PWM circuitry. At this point all I'm reasonably certain of is the 4.9V max on the Echo when set at 6v (12.6watts 2.57amp). On the V1 LT 4.5v (10.7watts 2.37amp)... -

You will get the scrambled reading on most, if not all regulated batteries, and many of the VV units though not all. I even get a scrambled reading on my Passthru unit. If you get a scrambled reading the next step is an adapter and a VOM. :) Errol- Errol

One can't talk about VV units without mentioning the MadVapes VV Box Mod. It will do everything as well as the most expensive VV unit available.
