Have no idea what "wax cord" is? Have a link to a location that sells something like that.
Seems like someone would have come up with different colors of an absorbent stretch type tube that could stretch over different size PVs and cut to the length needed. Something similar to the knitted...
Sure you don't want to try one of these before you totally give up on VV units. Aopllo has them for a little under $25 delivered using their 10% discount code. :)

Thanks Gdeal, now I understand the plastic. I originally thought you meant to say you had put the plastic under the paper towel and let each of them drip for a given period of time.

Once a again, beautiful work MISTer, looking forward to your next lesson, OH!, and thanks for flattering closing quote. Sorry to say I slept through it all. :)

Interesting test gdeal. Have been curious about what a comparison of the various wicking materials might produce and your test answers a few questions. I'm assuming what I'm looking at in the two tests are the size of the wet spots produced by the various wicks on a paper towel? Don't understand...
I like the tri-button and screen layout of V2, but I'm not too wild about the stubby appearance either, but I'd buy it in a minute if they had stuck with the 4amp unit they were initially testing. There must be some complicated technical issue in going from a 3amp to a 4amp unit. Maybe a V3 will...
It's a nice little APV, comfortable to use like the twist but a little more convenient for volt settings. The puff counter's a joke and I got mine before the pass-through became available but still one of my primary go to units.

They just publish the specs the supplier provides and we now know that L-Rider, Young June and sadly Smoktech are careless with the facts. Not sure how many know the Gripper which is advertised as a 4amp unit is actually a 3amp PV.

I noticed none of them are advertising an amp rating on them except for CanVape who advertises 4amp. I wrote them to see if they had tested it and found it to be a true 4amp unit but they chose not to reply.
According to this post from the iVapeguy (iVape.net) the Lambo 4.0 is a 2.5amp unit...
You're tough Lulu! :) Fortunately you do have a VV Twist so you can change the volts to find your sweet spot on any coil at any stage of it's changing life.

Forgot to mention I Vape my Echo DC cartos in the range of 4.5v to get the satisfaction I like but there have been many vaping them on 3.7v batteries with total satisfaction.
On the DC Echo you can most likely see the top coil if you look down the air tube, from the open end of course. :) If...
The ECHO dual-coil cartomizers was my #1 vape for well over a year and I found them to be extremely durable, only had one die one me. They are fairly easy to clean with a boiling water and a syringe (Welcome to SmokTek, LLC - The Better Smoking Alternative) to force water through them. If one is...
