    boiling eliquid ?

I'm done. And..... It works!!! My conclusion from testing the juices: 1 hour of ultrasonic steeping is comparable to a 2 weeks steep.

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

It really works!!! I made 5 test batches of juice, one of which FA Cowboy Blend. Of that one i know its color changes after 2 or 3 weeks of steeping. I put the bottles for an hour (2 times 30 minutes) in the ultrasonic. And BAM, the cowboy blend is colored yellow. From the taste of it i can say...

Ah thanks DigiMan. I'm going to make some new test batches this evening and use your suggestion of tying them with a rubber band. I'll keep you guys posted about the results.

    Subject: DIY Flavors

I don't know about the 4 start General. I use almost all FA tobacco flavors and most of them i like a lot. Especially Cam Blend Ultimate, 7 Leaves, Perique Black and Dark Vapure. Here you find more information: FA Tobaccos.

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

Hi Bobalex, Just got the device. One question about the steeping process. Do you put the bottles completely under water? Or do you set them straight up and just fill with water up to the level of the juice in the bottles? I use some plastic bottles for my test batches and the only way i see now...

    Three numbers: 555

I see a lot of posts describing a hazelnut taste to 555 tobacco. Is that the nut flavor for a typical 555? I used to vape some local brand USA mix, which has a very nutty taste to it (love it) that a cannot point out. I've tried to make it myself. So i started testing nuts, like hazelnut...

Any recipe sites that break down based on my flavors?

Krythis, looks promising! I think the 'Search by flavors' should be made more pronounced, since that is the functionality which is most important (IMO). Also would be nice to be able to search for recipies only containing specified vendor's flavorings. Thanks for putting time and effort in...

    measuring with a syringe

Using clear nail polish instead of clear tape, it's more durable. Not my own idea (read it somewhere else on ECF), but thought it makes a nice addition to this thread. I did all of mine yesterday and it works great.

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

Hey Bobalex, saw that one in the Part II thread. I was thinking really hard what i could put in there other than juices-to-steep to come up with valid arguments to convince my GF. The vitamin C thing is an extra good one. But before i could hit her with all of these arguments, i decided to just...

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part III

Yes, i bought one: This one! (It's a Dutch site...) I'm curious whether i can also use it for cleaning my glass and plastic bottles, A-type EGO tanks, etc. I also searched this forum to find out whether people use it for cleaning cartomizers. Some do, but say that the results are not better or...

Average cost of 120ml of DIY

I add all the cost (hardware and flavors) together and estimate how much juice i can make out of my collection. For 120ml that would be (Euro) E11,- I usually vape around 3ml a day, costing me E0,27 per day. Now on average when i would buy 120ml of ready-made juice around here that would cost me...

    Flavor bragging!

Seriously, you've tried 258 different flavors and you only like 13 of them? That's a 5% ratio... This really IS flavor bragging.

Steeping Times and an Ultrasonic Cleaner Part II

Nice idea. If it doesn't work at least you'll end up with very nice shiny bottles. :) In the mean time i'm trying to convince my GF that we really need this ultrasonic for cleaning jewelry, cutlery and other stuff. She said "What jewelry? You never buy me any. Whats there to clean?"
