Disclaimer: I don't have a Provari to compare (others with both state the quality is comparible)
What warranty concerns? It has the same 1 year warranty as a Provari.
As for repair concerns, it is modular so each piece can be separately replaced. I can't say for VapeRev in the states but...
It's just a shop, if you find something cheaper locally, just buy it there, that's what I do, no need to get all emo about it.
It is a shop based in China so it will never be as fast as buying locally. If you had done any minimal research on them before you purchased you would have realised...
I ordered blue, been about 5 days for. 3 day restock so far, the did ship the rest of my order on day three though, leaving the $4 of drip tips to ship later.
Having posted the above, there is someone in the US who was selling the VTR for ~$80 including a 18650 Panasonic battery which brings it down to about the same price as FT. I have no idea if it was a limited offer or which vendor it was though.
Shenzhen is a city of 10 million people that in 1979 was a small fishing village, at that point it was designated a special economic zone by the Chinese GVT and specialises in consumer electronics manufacturing. I am guessing it seriously has a heck of small machine shops that rely on subbed out...
FastTech are just a retailer, they make nothing at all.
Clones are made by lots of different competing Chinese factories! just go to alibaba and you will see lots of different factories offering the same clones, there is no big evil chinese overlord of vapegear cutting deals with manufacturers...
Exactly, I think I tell more people not to order from FT than I recommend them to. Some people just don't have the mindset for it (not talking about those caught up in the HKP issue waiting months). The FT forums are full of such people, they have seen a link with a cheap price and are screaming...
You have a right to say you hate it and it is unvapeable.
Everyone else has the right to read it and think "I don't want one of those, it doesn't sound very good at all, I think I won't trade with dracu"
Simple common sense.
If your budget is limited - Yes
If you need it in a hurry - No
I just got a VTR in 21 days for $71, that's about $60 dollars cheaper than I can buy it locally. If I knew it would have taken 6 weeks I would still have ordered it and waited as I have had a good mod to use in the meantime.
If you can wait a month you can pick up a Vamo V5 for $37 (~€30) from China.
Alternatively if you want to go for a high end mod like the Provari, as you are EU based consider the SvoeMesto Semovar, it's about the same price in the EU, has the same warranty (forget service as Provape are US...
I wasn't expecting a reply so fast, what with you needing to type it out on a typewriter and post it to the grand kids to put on the interweb. I guess they must be visiting eh.
I have just got 100ml of Hangsen vanilla custard for £14 from Bargain Vapours in Ireland. I hope it's good or I will be mighty sick of it by the time I finish it. Anyone tried it, FT don't seem to stock any custard flavours?
Personally I don't get why Provari fans are so anti innovation, it's not like Provari would stop making the version 2.5, nobody would force them (apart from their own peer pressure) to buy an updated one. What are you scared of?
