That's pretty normal - the package is physically with the postal service, but they haven't scanned in the tracking number. Today is a holiday in China and HKP is not working. The tracking number will show up!:)

The FastTech Thread For All FastTech Posts

The MVP v.1 has both the ego threading and the 510 threading, as does the v.2 (from the pictures and descriptions). The difference between the two seems essentially to be the variable wattage and ohms reader. The v.1 is "only" variable voltage. Personally I don't mind sticking to variable...

I understand your disappointment, I really do. I have the MVP v.1 and it is a great piece of equipment. Been using it for 2 months, and it is the thing I bring with me consistently because of the incredible battery life, small size and VV. Just got the SVD, and although it is an amazing mod...

fast tech purchasers.... question and recomendations

I agree with Puchox's choices above. The FT kits I have given my colleagues had the same battreies, and they are very pleased with them. For clearos, I've given away these: https://www.fasttech.com/product/1307200 - sets of 6 CE4s. They are good average quality, long-lasting and easy to...

Carrying my E-Cig Mods on Amtrak?

You can probably use them in the bathrooms and maybe even stealth vape. So why not have a small set up with you, and the others in your luggage? The only thing I would definitely do is make sure my batteries were in safe battery storage boxes, and that my liquids were tightly capped and in baggies.

You're not the only one, believe me...:) I've done it at least three times, including going into full panic mode  When I read your post, I was thinking that 1 DOA was possible, but that 2 might possibly be the 5-click on/off situation. I'm glad Capt.Shay suggested trying the clicking...

I have 3 eGo C twists from FT which work fine. No problems. I think you got a dud - I'm sure they'll replace it or refund your purchase. I just got a Bagua - it arrived yesterday. Wrote about it a couple of pages ago... :)

The SVD report: In comparison with the little Bagua that accompanied it across Asia, the SVD is huge. Three times the length in 18650 mode, with the same PT2. Beautiful, space-y, very high tech and surprisingly easy to figure out. Everything you need to know is in the little booklet that comes...

Joy, bliss and happiness...ok, maybe I'm a little over the top... My SVD and little Bagua clone arrived today, unexpectedly because SG tracking was still showing the package as being in transit...it took 16 days from SG, but that includes all our holidays too, and is pretty normal for my postal...

Expect delays and rejections due to more stringent security measures in Hong Kong, Singapore

This whole thread HK Post Random Handling: FastTech Forums is enlightening. Geek explains what FT has been doing to try to move our stuff, and there is a really nice template for complaints to HK. Thanks to JeffH for the email template.

What's up with all the China hate?

Ummn, somehow what you read wasn't what I wrote...:) I was protesting against the use of the "appeal to emotions" fallacy in the post I quoted. A lot of us base our thinking on initial emotional reactions and end up with blanket judgements on totally unrelated issues: "ewwww I'm not buying...

What's up with all the China hate?

Scott, this is not to pick a fight...but using the emotionally-charged infanticide and execution arguments in a discussion based on economics is appealing to emotion. Infanticide, abuse of women, widow-burning, adulterer-stoning, lynching, witch-burning, discrimination, legal or extra-legal...

What's up with all the China hate?

Ok, I can see that our living experiences in China have brought us to totally different conclusions. I spent a total of about 9 months there, over 5 summers in the early 1990s. As I have said elsewhere, I loved it. I met wonderful people, learned an incredible amount, saw breathtakingly...

What's up with all the China hate?

Not to worry, "l'esprit du clocher", or "own-group-ism" knows no borders, either. It's always been "my group good, your group bad".:) The thing that drives me crazy is that kind of "other-group-cheap-dangerous-creepy-destroying us-taking-our-jobs-and-marrying-our-women" thinking is how wars and...

What's up with all the China hate?

The world is a vast place, and human history sees ebbs and flows of empires, trade, economies. Populations migrate from one place to another in search of work, an income, a future for their chldren, pushed by misery, famine, industrial revolutions... Money and goods and countries, philosophies...

You're asking whether something will get to you faster from a seller in the US, where I assume you are, or from a seller on the other side of the world, with security delays, a week-long national holiday going on, and the black hole of San Francisco? Really? ??? And your point in ordering from...

    itaste 134 mini!!!

The Coolfire normal-looking mod is definitely interesting. I wouldn't go anywhere near the one that looks like a grenade, though...not where I live. I stopped smoking to stay alive, after all... The mini 134 is a lot more doable than the enormous one and the VTR is now right up there on my wants...

That happened to me yesterday, but the "restocking" status changed to "packaging" within a couple of hours. I really hope that will be the case for you too.

Sigh...sigh...the delays have been explained about 784 times...It isn't FT. FT is getting our stuff out as it always has been, with due consideration to national holidays and typhoons. There is nothing FT can do about the Hong Kong outgoing Customs checks, which affect everything going through...

    Drip Tip Addiction?

My favourite drip tips are little green jadeite ones from FT. The stone is smooth, warm and unobtrusive. They're also very pretty - the ones I have are nearly translucent.
