I think this may be the only way. I've tried just about everything coffee from FA, TPA, FW, ECX and VZ. Nothing tastes at all like coffee. Some of them smell dead on but then taste terrible.
I usually start with a base of 65/35 and end up and 70/30 or 75/25 after adding flavors.
I had to make a new base for the NF at 50/50. Even after evaporation and mixing with 10% flavoring this still ends up a bit to thin for my Kanger T3s (current favorite). I'll probably go for 50/50 including...
Me too. In an eternal quest for a good coffee.
The Kona Cream is a winner in my book. Just tried the Coffee at 10%. Similar to Kona Cream but drier and dirtier (in a good way). So far I dig it.
The Butter Rum tastes like Butter Rum. I might bump it up from 10%.
Forgot I also got some Bavarian...
+1 here for the Cookie. It's just OK alone, but great as a a bakery base for whatever you wanna throw on the cookie. 3-4% for me, wouldn't go higher. One of my must haves.
Try mixing the Koolada and menthol together, just use less menthol. I use this combo in pretty much everything I make since I'm a menthol addict. I use Koolada at 2% and menthol at 1%.
Thanks to high desert I was able to take a chance on a few of these.
The Caramel Cream, Butterscotch and Kona Cream are all winners.
So much so that as soon as I tried them I ordered 2oz of each from NF along with some Butter Rum, Bavarian Cream and Coffee.
They're all surprisingly clear but...
I have a cabinet in my kitchen with several shelves dedicated to my DIY, and I also have a 16 month old who's gonna figure that out soon. I'm interested to see what everybody uses for workspace.
No problem. I just gave them a hot water bath after mixing 3ml each. One the water was cool I tried them out and new right away I was gonna like them. I'm interested to see what happens after a few days. I'm guessing since they're organic they don't rely too much on chemical reactions over time...
For the evaporation, I used a modified version of Bovinia's tips. I dumped the flavoring into a Pyrex glass and put that in a very very hot water bath for several hours and let the alcohol evaporite. Then put it back in the bottle. It seems to have lost about 25 to 30% of the overall volume.
So...
