I bought this -- http://www.fasttech.com/product/1552300-russian-91-styled-rebuildable-atomizer-4-5ml -- as a upgrade from my PT's/hypertanks and I'm super happy with it. Works great with micro coils and cotton.

I gotta vote for a kayfun also. I has a RSST and never could get it right. I bought the $26 R91% from Fasttech and never looked back.

Based on personal experience, I have to agree with the other posters. 28g doesn't really work well with PT's. I like ~8 wraps of 30g around a 1/16 drill bit.

The kayfun lite /R91% work REALLY well with a single coil. No need for dual. If your dead set on a dual tank, take a look at the Aqua. I got the $20 Fasttech version and it's great.

In theory, I like the idea of two coils with the same ohms made from different size wire. I can't help but wonder if you would really notice any difference in vape quality.

I'm hoping someone decides to make a larger (wider) tank. The capacity of my FT Aqua is the only reason I don't use it much.

I think we'll always get a little leakage in the 510 well from a stock PT 1/2/3 coil. The wet wick is only a few mm above the air hole.
Your best bet is a sealed air flow control base. You can get a Smok version to use with any tank, an Areotank base to retrofit on your PT 1/2/3, an Areotank...
I think I'll wrap it real good with painters tape, throw it in the freezer for 10 minutes, then have at it. Two channel locks should do the job.
I'm not to worried about marking it up because my mods are all beat anyway. They live in my pockets.
