I feel your pain. I messed up two insulators trying to get the slvrbck positive pin to work.
I ended up buying a used ehpro KFL+ v2 and installed the slvrbck positive pin. Best airflow I've had in a kayfun.

If you look down the inside is a three piece kayfun/orchid tank, you'll see what I mean. The lip from the threaded clear middle section decreases the inside diameter.

Did you try it on another mod? Ohms read ok? Maybe take out the positive pin and check the insulator? Make sure the coil legs aren't touching anything?

A GB on Facebook. I haven't seen them available anywhere else yet, but I would still recommend it. Very similar to the orchid and fogger in terms of performance. I've been using it exclusively for a few days.
