    Sorry, off topic. Just wanted to say it's been ages since I've seen a snoopy tool. lol You will most likely destroy the threads in the top cap unless you're very careful. You might try heating it up just a wee bit with a torch.

    Is it stock? I had an easier time after I got rid of one of the center post nuts and put a very short spring and washer on the center post in between the two remaining nuts. Added bonus was that it was easier to recoil.

    I always ran into issues with the wick shorting out in the wick hole. I would bump the thing the wrong way and get a decrease in temp, flavor or vapor. I could adjust the wick up or down about a few mm up or down and it would be good as new. Stainless wicks are too finicky to carry through a...

    Could it be shorted? Though I've heard that stainless rope is a massive heat sink anyway. It should still glow dry right?

    The guys at the local vape shop said the same thing when I bought an aga. It and the RSST were side by side in the case. The owner tried to talk me out of it but I wouldn't listen. It was the most frustrating few days I've had since I started vaping. It gets easier after you figure it out though.

    There are differences. Some notice flavor differences. There are differences in resistances. The sticky will give you information overload for sure.

    Could be aluminum or any number of alloys. Check out the sticky at the top of the RBA forum for info on kanthal and nichrome wire.

    Not unless it's resistance wire. If you use regular copper wire your coil will short out and possibly destroy your battery.

    Moving beyond plug and vape?

    I still use an evod and a twist daily. I also like being able to tailor my experience making my own coils, wicks and juices. I'm addicted to fiddling though. :)
