I can agree.....the last thing we need is government intervention. Where do you think we would be without the Dr F study. He stumbled on this by accident as he was running tests on NET's. He said himself, he was surprised this issue had not been resolved, so thats how the study came to fruition...
I don't think anyone is hanging Suicide Bunny. As I said, she has a chance to make a positive change in the community if she responds to this well. The one thing I disagree with, it seems our manufacturers DO NOT self regulate. There have been reports about Diacetyl, for several years. I don't...
Maybe they don't want to know?? MAybe they don't care. It could be a big expense if the manufacturers have to narrow down which ingredients are problematic. Though, the bigger companies, spend a fortune promoting their product. Their stands at the vape events are huge and expensive. They spend...
PIP said her own AP results will be back Friday. Lets see how she responds to this! Maybe she will surprise and help pioneer the liquid industry! She actually has a chance to do good and set a positive example. Her response and reaction IMO is a big deal. She has a huge customer base, she can...
Vendors and manufacturers have known about Diacetyl for several years. IMHO this is one issue that will give the ANTZ legitimate ammunition if it is not corrected, not to mention the obvious concerns of inhalation.
I would say...lack of damage control. She owes her customers a response. She does claim on FB her AP results will be back Friday. I dont believe she is going to like the answers. It is a shame, many companies probably are in the same boat, though, they have not run into Russ or other consumers...
If this were to be true....a leaked study, it makes absolutely zero sense IMO, that it was leaked to this source and only this source. I call :censored: I will say, if it were true, the study would have been filed in the incinerator room at FDA headquarters immediately upon arrival!
Your vendor SHOULD know more than that. I applaud you for asking. If they dont know what it is, you may want to consider another company, if they are mixing their own liquids.
What I am saying, is vapers want to vape. That is it. Most do not want to get involved in any of this type of debate.
As for safety, and diacetyl, I am saying, this is not the first discussion, about this, that has taken place. We have known about the potential for this ingredient/compound to...
My 2cents.....Well said Racehourse.
Our industry has been less than proactive to avoid regulation. We have known about this issue for SEVERAL years. Many manufacturers have not taken it seriously. If they did, the results of this study would not be as disastrous as they are. We need to also take...
It is nice to see at least a couple of news organizations picked up the AVA press release. Thanks to Greg Conley once again! I hope vendors step up in support of AVA, as it will help get "our" side of the story read!
I have always said.....I wish e-cigs were around when I was 13, when I started smoking! Though, one can't expect a politician or health organization to use this train of thought. On the other hand, lying through their teeth is acceptable to them:facepalm:
I know personally, two vape shop owners in Jersey, that had difficulty finding C.C processors when they were initially opening. This is absolutely happening.
Explain to a teenager ,the cigar smoke that he has to breath in, from dads cigar is ok, tho, e-cigs are dangerous. I know this example is over the top but where is this all headed??
I believe 100% that they will exempt premium cigars. Truly unbelievable. Last I checked, cigars were still combustible too:confused: . The logic and smugness of our government and their posse, is so twisted, and completely goes against moral code.... it is criminal!
I wonder if CASAA, AVA and other pro vaping groups will put out their own press release exposing the continuing lies from the CDC. Though, surely, any Press Release from "our" side will not hold weight with media or any regulating body.
There has to be a way to get this nonsense to stop!
Here we go!!! Its going to be interesting to see how this plays out. I hope U.S vendors with deep pockets are getting their check books ready, as the courts will ultimately decide the fate of e-cigs here too!!
I have had problems with the 26650's handling the amp draw. For some reason they sag too much. I am curious, if this were to happen if you soldered in a fresh 30amp 18650. I know your Aries is conformed for a 26650 battery, but for performance sake you may want to try. I have not had any luck...
