    Sterilize your equipment!

Since the divide between morality and money is greater than ever, you cannot assume that Big Tobacco, the AMA, or the government is looking out in best interest. Trust no one. Do your own research. That's what I have learned so far in this world.

Looking for the end of buying

By all means, educate me. Which device would you recommend that I haven't tried that isn't outdated? Nevermind, I see you're answering the original poster. ;) ProVape envy all around! :) When everyone stops using the Provari as the unit that all other PVs are measured against, then it will be...

Vivi Nova 28g oval coil 1mm hemp wick

I boiled it for 10-15 minutes at a high boil, then poured off the top water some, then added more water. I did this three times. I didn't notice anything in the water and the twine is wicking great. Maybe someone has more information about the right amount of time. I'm just really cautious like...

    Sterilize your equipment!

Anti-bacterial soaps and wipes are can hazardous. I suggest reading on the effects of them on the immune system. As for cleaning: I generally just use soap and hot water on every thing I use every 48 to 72 hrs. Either steam and/or rubbing alcohol is used once a week. I never share a mouthpiece...

Looking for the end of buying

yeah, close. about 185. But the Zap is employs a cap air intake like an AGA, correct? And yes, none of them fit the Provari like a zap! that's for sure! Looks are not a factor. I don't care how it looks, just how it performs :) Hence the research comment. "Different strokes for different...

how to safely check for hotspot on a vivi nova rebuilt head???

I am a big fan of cotton, but I just recently found (thanks to BJ43s research) a *really* good hemp twine wick that outperforms most of the cotton, especially for the vivis. The twine is 1mm and you cut two pieces equal length, wrap your 32awg kanthal around them making an oval shape. They swell...

Looking for the end of buying

I started out rebuilding my Novas, minis, CE3-5s and eventually came to the same desire: find a good, reliable, not to difficult RBA. I stepped up to the 'Hyper SRT II" which turned out to be a mostly renamed version of the Smoktech "R" tank. Both the SRT and the R were pretty easy to rebuild...

    Wick materials. Safe vs dangerous.

You are most welcome, but BJ43 gave me the right direction originally with his 1mm hemp find. I just took a chance and ordered the 2mm hemp (which is actually 1.5mm dry). Sure saves me the hassle of having to rebuild everytime I forget to pay attention to my chain vaping while reading.... Dude...

If e-liquid gets banned can somebody tell me how much notice will I get.

Like most of you, I have my stash. I've been reducing my nic mg per ml with every batch with no noticeable side affects/withdrawals. I'll never stop vaping for any reason since I DIY my flavors and it'd just be silly if the FDA tried to ban baking goods :) Even if they do it'd just be the good...

Vivi Nova 28g oval coil 1mm hemp wick

Not as fragile as cotton at all. Not silica, but you can even dry burn it just a bit. Seems to be pretty tough stuff so far.

    Wick materials. Safe vs dangerous.

Shortly after using this Ody clone, I knew I'd need to find a viable alternative to cotton. As much as I like it, one good dry hit and I'm back to tearing it apart. This 1.5mm hemp is working wonders for me! I'm currently using 32awg A-1 Kanthal, 5 wraps @ 2.5 ohms. Hey Cyrus, glad to see ya :)

My experience with vaping thus far...

I've been putting this off so long, that I realized that if I didn't start writing this all down, I'd forget some things.. so here goes a *long* post :) I started smoking at the age of 15 or so back in the 1980s. Wasn't the best decision I ever made. After 25 years of smoking I finally...

    Line Clone (China)

I'm with ya on the cloning from a moral standpoint, but the copying is not all bad. My experience is a good example: I tried many times to get a hold of an original Ody for a few months, but had no luck. I found out the the Ody was no longer in production. I then heard of a clone out of China...

    vivi nova mini leak

The vivis are cheap and very good. I am a fan of the mini and the tank. You might consider wrapping two 1mm hemp wicks with 32awg kanthal. I just hold them together and wrap loosely by hand. It produces a oval coil that has great vapor and taste. It's worth the experience imo. The Hemp holds out...

Terminator/Nautilus/Choddy/Oddy Clone Pics, Tip,Tricks and Quirks

I have the Terminator and the Terminator-C. They replicate the original Odysseus to the point of having all the same problems that the original has. Once you work around those problems, it's a really good vape. The best I've experienced so far. I can't speak for the other clones, since I don't...

    is this normal?

Check this out if you haven't seen it already: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/modding-forum/367095-resistance-no-resistance-wire-welder.html :) Quite some reading, but these guys are on the ball welding wires with disposable cameras. Some have posted schematics for the DIYers among us...

Vivi Nova 28g oval coil 1mm hemp wick

Got my 2mm hemp twine in from ebay. It's actually 1.5 mm, and for 2mm beads (lol) Regardless, I boiled it a few times, let it dry, then loaded my Ody clone. It swelled and filled the 2mm ceramic channels nicely! I'm impressed. Great vapor production. Lot's of chain vaping; much more durable...

Vivi Nova 28g oval coil 1mm hemp wick

??? I'm in California. Had no issues buying it off of Ebay. It's available at all arts and crafts stores. It's perfectly legal; certainly here.
