The method that I mentioned above caused everything to align so well, that I have two full Term metal tanks(citrus) installed and full. The centering issue is completely gone for me. This is, by far the best method I've tried and is working perfectly. I'm sorry you're having so much trouble :(
The ceramic housing(9) is grounded to the base(1) of the unit via the threads. I assumed this was the case, but I had some concerns about over tightening(could short) and centering. I'll definitely give this a spin next rebuild :)
Although I haven't tried this myself, I'd think you'd have to...
Most likely. I've been considering shaving about 1mm off of the corrugated portion of the mouthpiece.
As for the gap between the ceramic that calpis mentioned. I rebuild my Term with a flattened piece of 30awg .999 silver on one end and initially had some trouble getting the piece to fit...
I'm checking that now.
Okay, One of the Terms I can get 32 awg on one side like you have with yours. Not a chance at all with the 30 silver. However, this got me thinking: The great thing about .999 silver is that it's malleable. I'm going to see if I can flatten the 30 silver enough to slide...
Very interesting calpis. I assume that is also how some people are getting negative power to the NR wire? I have two from SVC and I don't have any clearance like that! Where are my gap measuring tools when I need 'em? :D
When traveling anywhere in those regions, I've always opted to leave my e-cig at home and took nico-gum instead. I've never had a problem with it. I know it's not a great solution, but better than having your e-cig gear confiscated and possible fines.
I wrap my wire on a small 2mm diameter "precision" screwdriver, wrapping as close together as I can. Also, tinfoil can be helpful with feeding the cotton through the coils. I also heat the wire red hot with a lighter so it's not so "springy".
As Baditude stated, Version 2 Provaris addressed this problem. as long as your resistance isn't too low, (below 1.6 I believe) then you shouldn't have any problems.
I just tried this to see if I can find weak spots in the o-ring seals and where:
I disassembled a dropper from one of my bottles and removed the plastic cap so just the rubber portion is left. I screwed this on the 510 connector until it sealed against the base completely. I loosened the...
I haven't been having issues with mine lately, but I'm certain that what dwcraig1 stated about one of the upper o-rings not sealing is definitely an issue. If you look closely at the dripping and see that it is coming through the hole in the center of the positive pin, then the upper o-rings are...
Nothing is Free. I read over and over how people suckered into getting a "free" product, only to discover they didn't read the fine print and were subscribed to some monthly subscription service. If you are genuinely interested, get the name of the company and verify that they are an ECF...
BJ43 stated that the original seller (lovepedal) now has the 1mm in 2mm size. The 2mm size is found under the "color" dropdown menu. If you don't see it, reload the page. I had to mess with it to get it to show up. For the Vivi, 1mm is fine. It swells when wet. The 2mm may work as well; can't...
"4/5" means "Four or five wraps". Also the ohms stated are an approximation, Every coil you wrap will have a slightly different resistance when wrapped by hand.
The reason the ohms climb as the awg goes up is because 32awg wire is thicker than 34 and 36 awg. The electricity has to travel...
As I appreciate that you took the time to show us that the lower o-ring has nothing to do with leaking when the unit is properly sealed, I do, however, prefer not to get fluid all over my hands when refilling/checking the fluid levels. So dwcraig1, I must disagree that the lower o-ring is very...
