It is not the same. Yes you can get the same or even more heat from a pro-v adjusting the volts, but wrapping a low ohm coil isn't just about getting more heat. You can wrap a 2 ohm coil with 28 g kanthal (need a 9/8 wrap lol) or you can do it with 32g kanthal, but it is FAR from the same...
I thought that might be the case but wasn't sure. Thanks for clearing that up but there was a guy over on vaporwall (lullis I think his name was) that made the "fine" as the whole mod was made out of .999 fine silver, so I wasn't sure.
This is a question for Jim. Will there be a possibility of you producing the contacts in the Poldiac out of pure silver as opposed to silver plated as I am sure that after time we will all wear through the plating as much as we love this thing. I wouldn't mind paying extra. Anyone else besides...
It all comes down to the conductivity of the metals used. Copper is the base for the IACS conductivity scale so it's measured at 100%. Silver measures at 105% and is the best conductor of heat. Here's a link. http://www.kp44.org/electric/ElectricalConductivityOfMaterials.php
What does this mean...
You can find both at GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more
Don't worry it happens to all of us. The community and forums are just soo big.
The eGo twist is a great starter device. I'd stay away from the cigarette look a likes. The battery life just sucks.
Now on to the tough question. Juice. You will NOT find a cigarette flavor as you have found out. I want to elaborate on this a bit more. This doesn't mean this will not work...
This is where I'll let someone else answer as I haven't tried either. I was just thinking about RBA's that would travel well and not leak. Looking at how both work I would imagine that the Penelope has a cleaner taste but that's just an assumption based on construction not experience.
Gennys and traveling well go together as well as oil and water. If you do find you do like the rebuildables I would recommend either the Penelope or GP Spheroid. Both completely pocketable and would look sick on that beautiful pipe.
One of the other differences is that when a mech mod doesn't fire it can only be a handful of things that could be wrong. Almost anything that fails is readily avail at lowes or home depot. Also you can wash a mech mod. No wires means as long as you dry everything off before firing you're good...
Depends on who you want to cater to. The new vaper would be looking for an eGo twist or eGo 18650, where as a lot of other vendors are starting to act as the middle man for mod makers. Mawn and Co is carrying the ZAU, 310Vapers is carrying the iHybrid and Orion ect. Personally I would like to...
The biggest advantage a hybrid or mech mod with a genny atomizer is that you can build low ohm coils. I prefer 28g kanthal as it has a larger surface area to heat the juice. In order not to get an E1 or E2 error you need an 8/7 wrap which is just redicilous. The downside is the voltage drop off...
You could also switch to SS mesh instead. It's supposed to taste cleaner and there is debate that it's healthier also. Here's a video on how to do it. The only thing I would do differently is to torch it with a butane torch.(can find either at a hardware or cooking store)...
