I was just offering a suggestion as to how the OP could extend his battery life on his VV/VW device with higher ohm coils. A sub-ohm tank has absolutely no advantages (besides the aforementioned better feeding, due only to the popularity of said tanks and the attention given to them by...
Yeah, I agree there. It just sucks that the only pre-built heads right now that feed good are the sub-ohm heads....does anyone know if higher ohm heads that feed as well as SO heads??
My wife uses an Eleaf GS Air M tank with 1.5ohm coils and it seems to feed fine at 15w, but the flavor ain't...
You'll get better battery life with higher ohm coils, not lower. ;)
Say, 1.5 ohm @ 15w and you'll get about double the battery life that you would at .5 ohm @ 30w...and, with all things being equal, about the same vape.
I remember saying I would quit when cigs got to $1 a pack....that was a very long time ago and I kept smoking for a long time after they hit $1. :)
I gotta say, I'm surprised by how many in this thread only quit because of the cost.
I wouldn't care if they were GIVING AWAY CIGARETTES FOR FREE or actually PAYING ME TO SMOKE! I would still have switched to vaping....WHY?
Because my doctor said "quit smoking now, or die...your choice".
6 years later and almost all of the those health issues have gone the way of my former...
For sub tanks I've got a Starre and an Ego One. They both have great vapor, but the Ego One has a slight edge on flavor (although it's kind of proprietary with the Ego One batteries in the sense that it is meant to look good with that battery).
The good thing about the Starre is it takes...
How about instead of using your own mod & batteries, the organizers set up some type of passthru device for the competitors to connect their atties to...?? This would level the field and then the "clouds" could be judged by what really should count; your building skills, not your mod.
It would...
This does NOT happen on mine. I just double checked and it is version 1.4.
After I go through all the steps and then hit the up button ONCE, it takes me to the memory location I PREVIOUSLY CHOSE in step 1, not memory location ONE.
I can duplicate this with 2.21. I'm not sure if ver 1.4 was the same or not. I'm also not sure if it's by design or a bug but I'll add it to the list. Can anyone with 1.4 and 2.1 verify please?
I can confirm that this does NOT happen on 1.4 (am I the only one here waiting for the "bug free"...
Much thanks to the OP! Great post and very informative thread that really opened the eyes of this "veteran" vaper. ;)
Going to ditch my .4 ohm coil tonight and wrap up a 1.8 ohm...I'll let you all know how it goes. :)
My SX Mini does that (and NOT in TC mode). Just use the "Powerful" or "Powerfu+" settings. ;) These settings start at a higher wattage and ramp down over the duration of the draw. I have my .44 ohm dual coil set to 25w and I use the "Powerful" setting and am liking it a lot. "Powerfu+" is just...
Not a computer, but I get horrible vapor build up inside my 73" rear-projection DLP television. My living room is about 600 sq. ft., I sit about 15' from the TV and have a ceiling fan going at all times. It collects so fast that I have to remove the screen and clean the inside of the screen and...
OP here - just wanted to clarify that in this post I should have said:
"And how all of these flavors are supposedly attracting non-smoking children to vaping? And how nicotine is supposedly as addictive as ****** (kids chasing a "buzz")??"
I was throwing out the antz's arguments in defense of...
I couldn't care less about what they do to their own bodies...I only care about how this will reflect on the vaping community in general. I'm sure you're aware of how the "cloud chasers" are frowned upon whilst blowing giant clouds in public places and how that is bringing the antz down even...
