    It's official!

You most certainly do not have to use micro coils + cotton. I actually prefer my silica based "Ugly Coil" any day of the week. ;)

    Sir James

How big is that bottle? The website doesn't say.

Has Anyone Vaped the RM4 Yet?

I got my RM4 yesterday. Threw in a quick dual coil build (26awg @ .3ohms) and immediately sheared the wires with the screws. Took some sandpaper to the screw ends and no more wire cutters. :) Working great so far. Blowing massive clouds and big flavor. Gonna have to tighten up the...

Work in Progress - diy 26650 "REO"

    I'd buy 2!

    needing more noalox...

.5 ohm here and haven't needed it.

    RM2 not draining very well

    ^^^^ This.

    Flavor issue, Reo Grand, RM2

Personally....and I know this goes against all that is holy....I think micro coils + cotton mute flavors and are more hassle than they're worth. <ducks> I use the Rob endorsed "Ugly Coils" and get loads of flavor, less squonking and no changing the wick every day...just a rinse and dry burn...

    Finally!

Not that you won't love the Reo, just keep in mind that if you end up not liking it (impossible!) you can sell it in the classies for not much less than you paid. ;)

    Flavor issue, Reo Grand, RM2

    THIS...is a good thing. ;)

    The BF experiment

Thanks Chowder. I'm keeping it simple and drilling the insulator. :) Ordered those bits from Amazon last night, will let you guys know how they work out. And then, of course, Rob puts up the pre-modified Atomics on his sight....had to get one of those too. ;)

    The BF experiment

Ah-Ha! Found 'em at Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/SE-Drill-Set-60-8260HDB/dp/B000O5DDB4 Those'll work with a drill press, right? Since they're so cheap, should I get a couple other sizes too?

    The BF experiment

OK, I was just looking on Lowes website to see if they even carry the bit I need. Maybe I'm searching for the wrong thing ("#60 drill bit") but I can't find it there either. I can't find it on the Ace site either....I must be doing something wrong here.

    The BF experiment

Yeah, I looked in that section too. I asked one of the employees and he said they do not stock them. Keep in mind I live in South Dakota...kinda in the sticks.

    Modding an Atomic for BF

Hey Chowder - I'll take you up on that offer! But, for some reason I can't PM you....? There isn't even an option when I click on your name.
  15. The Yeti

    The BF experiment

Went to Ace today....smallest bit they have is 1/16th. :( Gonna try Lowes this weekend. If I can't find one locally, and tips on slotting the insulator??
  16. The Yeti

    The BF experiment

I can't seem to find those bits anywhere in my town, and online the shipping kills ya. Any tips on how to slot the insulator? Should I take it all the way out and use a dremel or what?
  17. The Yeti

    The BF experiment

So, I got my Atomic and was gonna drill out the insulator at work today...but, apparently my engineer guys don't use bits that small. I looked around online for a #60 bit, but dang if they don't cost almost as much as the Atomic! Any solutions for me? Can I just slot the insulator??

Trying to get to a test setup for the Reo

Did you check to make sure your air hole is lined up with the coil? Are you vaping on the same resistance coils at the same voltage??
  19. The Yeti

    My BF Stillare;)

WOW! I really, really, really like the way that looks! Beautiful! I actually like that look better than how it would look on an LP, personally. I say keep it that way! Any issues with leakage from the 510/510 adapter? Can you link to the one you used??

Trying to get to a test setup for the Reo

Peevish - you never said (unless I missed it) what voltage you are using on the Provari with these coils...? Also, you could just get an unmodified RM2 (I can't remember the name, but I'm sure someone here does!) to use on the Provari. That way you should be getting the exact same vape (as long...
