    my goal is to eliminate the spring. i have a criteria for my devices and among the top on the list is: NO SPRINGS (other than in the switches), springs wear out, springs are a PITA to replace, springs suck. I need to find a way to get rid of this spring haha.

    is the Titanium Fox worth it? i like that it has no springs. I HATE SPRINGS! *angry face... i am always looking for a new device that fits my criteria (no springs *other than in switch if it has to have one) that thing looks pretty cool...anyone got any more info?

I am going to go to lowe's tomorrow when i get mine, possibly another hardware store. i also make jewelry and am thinking of a copper tube design that would slide (snuggly) around the bottom...

    I got one coming I'll take a look at it. I wanted a beater MOD so I will see what can be done to mod it. I'm thinking a brass rod threaded to where the spring is. any ideas people? possibly a very long brass screw/bolt

    ^i saw that and doubt it is...also if it's under load it could vary depending on deliever device so i really wouldn't worry about it, brass makes a great conductive point and i don't think it is the unit so much as the atty that causes a drop under load, not to mention what facts do we have to...

    Thanks attypops, it's just on the negative/bottom side of the battery, the top/positive is wrapped around the edges i may just take one single strip of clear tape and cover it if I feel it's an issue.

    I noticed on two of my Panasonics, that the protective wrap on the batteries doesn't fully cover the ends.     don't get this RBA it's got brass posts and unless you want to vape the consequences of brass and eliquid making sweet love children of chemical joy, i'd steer far from this atty agreed. i own quite a few IGO L's...(22 at the moment) and more on the way in a co op, they're hands down the best...
