    makes complete sense, i mean only applicable to certain setups and really probably only the synthesis, most other DC gennys are able to handle a u wick properly, and a u wick makes more sense (for a few reasons) than this setup does, i don't see a need for this other than with the synthesis...

    short circuit protection has nothing to do with how low you can go...amp limit (on the switch) would be the thing you're thinking about. also, wires can only handle so much through them, you might have built it and can replace the wires, but wires will fry at super super low ohms/high wattage...

    find a washer that fits and im sure that would close the gap some. i am going to make a custom copper washer (i make jewelery) so i figure a copper or brass washer would look good with the setup i have running right now. -TCAD

    my issue with all vv/vw devices (aka non mechs) is that i can't get 19.6 watts :vapor: but that's FOR ME, not for most people and i understand people don't want to mess with mech's or want regulated output, for me a low enough coil will allow me to get a great vape all the way from full charge...

    also allows for tons of different setups. range of coils from .7-1.3 as well as the option of having backups if im out and about and a coil goes bad or something, instead of having to build a coil on the go, just grab a new IGO :)

    I have the same one from MVS without a tapered top, I do have an order from Youde tech for 20 IGO L's and i believe they will be the tapered top. I think the tapered top will hit better due to the internal volume being less, allowing vapor to get more dense in the chamber before it gets to you...

    i ordered 20 (IGO L's) direct from Youde themselves, i believe i will be getting the slanted top version which is the newest. My first IGO L is the non slanted top version, my speculation is the slanted top will allow for better vapor/taste etc because it takes some of the internal volume away...

    i too make jewelry and if you did this, the wire would be work hardened and become extremely springy/somewhat difficult to wrap, the only way to possibly get rid of it would be heating it to a high temperature and quenching it in water to anneal it bringing it back to a softer state.

    Genny is a fatty? or fatty is a genny? wah?

    yeah its a true dripping fatty with a tank below, it was on the second to last episode (i think) of the vape tems lives youtube uploads. CJ showed it only downfall i saw was it was a little tall/flimsy but it seemed really cool as i a sucker for drippers/RDAs
