    Best atomizer for the ego-T?

I have tried just about every clearo on the market, and 3-4 popular RBAs, over the last 18 months. They all had their good/bad points, but I recently tried the GS-H2, and found it to tick all my boxes as a regular PV. It is good looking, light, never leaks juice - even when refilling, is easy to...

    Ez-Mix - a new mixing calculator - I need your help

Yes, ECF thought my website was commercial - but it isn't, it's a huge site containing information about all the hobbies I have an interest in, and lots of hints and tips about how to do things, and links to interesting sites I have visited. It just so happens that I also showcase two shareware...

    New link for Ez-Mix

Thanks for the kind comments. The next version is well under way, but no more flavours I'm afraid - I have a limit on window height (it must work with small screen heights, such as with netbooks). I could have added a couple more flavours, but I have used the space I made for them for...

    Ez-Mix - a new mixing calculator - I need your help

I hear what you say, but cannot do anything about it at this stage. You will appreciate that changing the width of this field will have a profound effect on the width of the window, and the layout when printed. This may make it difficult to fit everything on a small index card, especially if the...

    Ez-Mix - a new mixing calculator - I need your help

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the New Mix thing was a bug, caused as you say by moving things around. I actually found this myself too last night, and it is now fixed. Not quite sure what you mean regarding buttons...

    Ez-Mix - a new mixing calculator - I need your help

Yes, you surely have found a bug - the first one to show up in this thread. It occurrs because you are using are using a different folder from the application folder - a sensible thing to do, by the way. This causes Ez-Mix to look in that folder for the help file and, of course, doesn't find it...

    Ez-Mix - a new mixing calculator - I need your help

I have uploaded the new version (RC0v97b) this morning. Use your previous link to get to the webpage for download. I have listened to your feedback in this thread, and made the following changes - 1. There are now 8 flavours - I found a way of doing this without changing window or text...

    Ez-Mix - a new mixing calculator - I need your help

There is nothing in Ez-Mix that should stress a cross-platform utility. To write the program, I used C++ tools that were contemporary with Win95. I've never found a reason to upgrade - all my programs run on the latest version of Windows, so why go to the expense (considerable!) of upgrading...

    Ez-Mix - a new mixing calculator - I need your help

OK folks, it's UP Use your existing link to the Ez-Mix preview page to download it. I have also added an online version of the Help file on the webpage, which you may like to try. I have incorporated most of the changes we discussed in this thread, and changed the Help file accordingly...

    Ez-Mix - a new mixing calculator - I need your help

I've just had PM's from 3 more volunteers. If they are reading this, I will get back to you in a couple of hours as I'm just about to issue an update as a result of discussions to date. I still have a bit to do - building the app, creating the installation file, updating the help file, and...

That's excellent to hear! I know nothing about Macs, but I can see that the VM approach is the way to go.

    Ez-Mix - a new mixing calculator - I need your help

Thanks Andy - You're the man! Here's a thought - ever since Win98, Microsoft have changed their Help system over to HTML Help (which I use here), which apparently needs something in Internet Explorer for it to work. I wonder how the Mac would cope with that?

    Ez-Mix - a new mixing calculator - I need your help

It's very quiet around here - fed up with it already? Actually, I'm a little bit disappointed. Of the 48 people that have taken part, only 18 have reported back. Fortunately, noone has found anything drastically wrong, or been able to break it (as far as I know), which is really good news...

    Ez-Mix - a new mixing calculator - I need your help

I hear the call from a few of you asking for longer flavour names. I cannot do too much in this respect without upsetting the formatting of screen/printer layout. But I have done a bit of re-jigging, and squeezed an extra 5 characters in without interfering with the underlying code. Sorry...

    Ez-Mix - a new mixing calculator - I need your help

That is why there is a '1/100 ml' checkbox option in the 'mix volumes' panel - to set required precision. Click on this, and all will be OK. - it's in the Help file BTW  Maybe I should add the state of this checkbox to the registry, so that it remembers the user preference?

    Ez-Mix - a new mixing calculator - I need your help

You tell me... That is what this preview phase is all about. I know nothing about Macs, but from what I read, as long as your machine is intel-based, and has the facility to run Windows programs, there is a good chance it will. I wrote this program using development tools that ensure the...
