    Looks like initially I had melted my insulator a wee bit "just vaping it" out the tube also which started this whole adventure. Think finally I may be ready to "just vape it" again and enjoy. Thanks:)

    Getting plumes and the taste seems to have improved. Ty all for the help. The wick not being as stiff as I was used to was really throwing off my wrapping. Hopefully I've got it now. If I have anymore issues/concerns/questions I will be sure to let you all know so I can get this down like riding...

    Wick looks naturally that way without anything wrapped on it Crypto it's just warped looking. However like i said made sure i could slide a safety pin through the entire length and I can slide the wick within the coil if need be, I assure you the bottom isn't wrapped nearly as tight as it looks...

    They are loosely wrapped Monty, made sure of that. The wick is just all out of shape and flimsy making them appear tighter then they are. Definitely a thinner, more fragile wick then I'm used to wrapping on. Made sure to be gentle and wrap loosely. I can actually slide the wick right out of the...

    Ty! Re-wrapped again. Shortened the lead, no shorts, everything seems even, bottom isn't tight wick just looks warped (can fit a safety pin through the whole length). What do ya think? This look better?

    Ty Dear! Ok... So I put the 3/4 Wrap on the Vmax and although I was getting great vapor and flavor on the other device I got a f1 error. Sooo.. I tried again, went with a 4/5 wrap, no f1 error, everything is even glowing even no problems, fill it and put it back on the other device and the taste...

    Yup, 1st thing I do when I taste something weird is pop the top cap. No glowing coils, no boiling liquid, wick doesn't seem to be drying out anywhere. Pretty thoroughly stumped over here lol.

    Ok I have a question. Vaping the ZaU with the stock zen wrapped coil, been getting clean flavor since I got it and suddenly last night I'm getting an off taste. Fiddled with the coils, all are even, wick is even with top screw, not touching top screw or bottom of tank. Not sure what's going on...
