    Water temp is in the high 60's low 70's by the beginning of summer here on the east coast and by fall/hurricane season it's hoovering in the mid to high 70's so no wetsuit required :)

    Well I see your a New Yorker, soooo...... If you ever down by L.I. and I'm in the area and there is surf, maybe I could throw ya a free surfing lesson (avg. rate for lessons is $350.00+ per hour. plus board rental). I make bank from tourists in the summer in San Diego, Muah ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

    I surf professionally, I'm very closely watching both Issac and tropical depression 10 as we speak. Hoping they both track up the coast and for some solid surf from both of them, it's been pretty damn flat this summer on the east coast while the west coast has seen solid back to back to back...
