These sleeves are about half the weight and thickness of my standard sleeves, and feature an embossed snakeskin texture dyed with custom metallic "dragonhide" tints. Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

Yep, the items on the "Specials" page are still available and are still shipping within 24 hours or so. I am slowly getting caught up so I might be able to resume taking custom orders before the 15th - I will post an update when I do.

Not yet. When things slow down a bit I am planning to do some more work on those, though.

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

I have posted about 30 new items on the specials page, including a lot of sleeves for the ProVari with extended cap. Most are marked down by at least 20% and all are available for immediate shipment. Custom sleeves are also available for ordering once again.

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

I discontinued the drop holsters shortly after they were first released because people didn't like the fact that they were uncomfortable to wear while sitting. I might eventually re-introduce them as heavy duty tool belt holsters, with rivet-reinforced stitching. If you want one made up for...

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

Hi Folks! I have a few updates and additions to SerenityGear.com to let you know about: -Nine new stamp options have been added; Indian Chief, Buffalo Head, Steer Head, Paw Print, Bass, Sun Face, Moon Face, Rose, and Lily. More new stamp options will be coming in the next week or two. (More...

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

The rounded cap shouldn't make any difference and the top cap does indeed rest on the upper edge of the lanyard. With normal use, I don't imagine that the wear on the leather would be significant.

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

I probably won't have time to get to it in the near future, sorry. It's actually pretty easy to put on; just remove the bottom cap from the ST, slide the lanyard on, and replace the cap. The fit isn't as tight as it might appear in the photo - I generally make lanyards fit more loosely than...

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

Sorry, I don't make the Tiki lanyards to order because they're just too time consuming to do. (And kind of hit or miss, since I just starting to get back into leather tooling, after a 15 year break.) The next time there is a lull in orders I do plan to make up some more tooled designs to add to...

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

 Ok, ok...points taken! As soon as I have some time I will work up a pattern for a Lavatube sleeve, post a photo or two and add them to the site.

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

I do own a Lavatube so I can definitely make an open top holster for it if you want one; just select "Other" for the mod style and include a note in the comments field, when you check out, to indicate that you want it to fit the Lavatube. Just be aware that the device will fit in the holster...

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

Thanks for the info jtieri! From the feedback I've gotten most recently, it sounds like the satin finish does not actually make it any more difficult to put the sleeve on or take off. I have gotten one report of a "mark" left on a satin silver ProVari though, presumably from rubbing...

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

I don't think that would be a problem. When you order your flexi-holster, just include a note in the "comments" section to indicate that you would like it to have a flip-top.

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

:) I'm very glad to hear that you like them! Good to know that the sleeve isn't a problem on the satin-finish ProVari, too. Maybe I don't need to warn folks against doing that after all.

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

I don't recall a message about the GGTS and don't see anything in my mail so you might want to resend it or PM me here on ECF.

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

Any direction other than towards the back of the holster should be fine. (Even if it is facing the back, there probably wouldn't be enough pressure to activate the button, but better safe than sorry.)

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

It is designed so that you should be able to leave the unit on without worrying about the button getting pressed, though it is a good idea to make sure the button is not facing the back of the holster when you put the ProVari in. So far, I have not received any reports of problems with the...

    Griff's Leather Mod Holsters

That's one of the other patterns that I'm preparing to make available. I still need to work out a few details though, like how to get the colors applied more neatly without spending three hours on dyeing each one. I'm planning on having them available as two-color designs with a black...
