    Yes, the atomizer area will get hot. I have an AGA-t which is similar and this gets warm also. It should not get uncomfortably hot.

    Atomizer Short My A**

    An EVIC really has a low end of around 1.3 OHMs as a cutoff for not reporting a short. I did get a 1.0 OHM coil to work intermittently on an EVIC, but i got random short errors thrown also. I'd say it worked 60% of the time with a 1.0 OHM aga-t coil. EVIC never got hot at all with this setup...

    eVic Atomizer Short?

    I do not think the type of liquid is the issue. Sometimes an atomizer gets out of resistance due to buildup on the coil. Have you cleaned the atomizer recently? I also use nova tanks. I rebuild the atomizers so I don't worry cleaning as much. You could soak the atomizers in high proof vodka...

    And here it is. Just need the stainless top cap and I am done. The siam mods 18500 tube is installed (required stretching spring, battery was loose). The 18500 1700 mah batteries seem to be working well. I am still looking into ways of making the wooden battery tube mod.

    Just bought an eVic

    Just got mine set up with the 18500 siam mods tube and large nova tank. Just a random Blue drip tip on it , but i liked the color and the way it looked. The steel battery tube is so much nicer than the stock aluminum tube. It is quite a bit heavier though.
