MBV Cinnamon Roll - What's wrong with me?
Is it too much cinnamon? I cut mine with some whipped cream to make it perfect! Also the device you use will bring out or mute the cinnamon. If you have a carto try it in there, it will make the cinnamon a little less strong. Of course steeping will change it too. Try it again in a week. -

Too Harsh! What Went Wrong?
The lemon gives it an acidic "feel" on inhale and makes it seem a little dry. I don't so much taste the flavor of the lemon though. Maybe start at 1 drop/5ml. You can always add another. Post experiment update: I tested the pg and vg individually and didn't notice any harshness. I probably should have done this to begin with and think it's a good idea for anyone starting DIY. Now I know what they taste like and can compare other brands. I did 4 batches of various pg/vg ratios...- finanie

Ok, will do several tests when I get home tonight! I would be ok with increasing the vg in my overall mix since I can control the flavor now. I've avoided it on my pre-made orders because I wasn't sure how it would effect the flavor. DIY perk!!- finanie

Anyone else scrounge packaging (vials, bottles, etc.)?
That's great! Saves you money and it's good for the environment. I always keep the bubble wrap from my packages and reuse it when I send out stuff for trade. Since the drawer is full, I guess I could stop saving it!- finanie

I will try doing a plain mix of the pg/vg first and test that out. I got all my supplies at Wizard Labs. I may need to experiment with products from other companies.- finanie

I tried two different coils in my evod but will try it will a brand new coil later. I just wanted to make sure I didn't screw up the calculator and overdose on nic! I spent months reading up on DYI, and placed my first DIY order in May. I still didn't feel ready so I kept reading and finally made my first batch last night. For me, the Red White and Blue needs to be vaped at lower watts/volts to prevent the discoloration. It's not just MBV, I have to do the same thing with my RW&B from another place. I don't know what causes it though. I have plain strawberry and blueberry and both can be vaped at higher watts. -

I can only help explain how to use the MYO. If you want a 30ml you will include 12 parts total. This will depend on how many different flavors you use and how strong you want each flavor. My MTB arrived. Do I have to wait?
Out of the flavors you have, blackberry will be ready sooner than the others. I would give it a day with the cap/tip off and then try it. If you find it perfumey, give it a few more days. With the extra flavor shots, you will likely need more time. Their blackberry is by far one of my favorite... -

My current top fruits are blackberry, strawberry, mango, pear, and red white and blue. Grappler, raspberry and blue moo are also really good. I very much prefer MBV fruits over the other vendors I've tried! -

It smells like chocolate but not getting chocolate taste when vaping. I think there might be some cinnamon? If you like almonds, it's worth trying it. -
