OK these mods are getting out of hand. Wow. Pleasant experience with cig-alikes from a habitual mod buyer/user.

The cool thing about 808 batteries compared to 510's is the VOLTage. 510's are a measly 3.3 while 808s are 3.7. That includes the cigalikes. Big SI fan over here. I don't own a twist or a Vision product, but I like my spinners! I will forever swear by those little Volts and recommend them to new...

Wonder Why Coils aren't Done Like this

Haha, that's a cool idea. I say wind some lower resistance wire (so you have maybe 4 widely spaced wraps across the space you would normally have 6-7) into a coil without any wicking material and then weave the wicks around the coil using some fine-point tweezers. A sewing needle might be hard...

You all saving lots of money rebuilding your own coils?

I still don't own an RBA, but I've pretty much always rebuilt my coils for my T3's. The fact that it was even possible was a selling point for me. It was partially for saving money, but more just because I like to mess with things. The heads are what, ~4 bucks a piece (I'm considering shipping...

    Vaping at the park

Haha, you'd be surprised. I was hiking in this 1000-acre preserve the other day when I ran into a middle-aged man who wanted to know about ego-style/T3 setup. He saw I had my day bag, noted that I was pretty well-equipped for just being out there and asked me if I was doing the full 8 miles (not...

I knew it was too good to be true!

It's funny you mentioned the tooth pain. I became aware of two major cavities a few weeks after I made the switch. The pain was so bad I had to check myself and sure enough, they were big ones right at the gumline... ...big enough for me to run my fingernail through. The dentist was shocked to...

How long do you use your heads?

I use them until they die or start tasting really harsh/weird. I've noticed that just before the coils either die or pop, they usually give off a really harsh, metallic taste. That's generally when I tend to swap out. At first, I tried changing wicks when that happened, but it proved completely...

    Ohm/volt/watts noob confused,

But what about amps? That's a vital piece of the equation, is it not? If you vape 10w at a low voltage or a high voltage, the amount current isn't going to be the same with both. You can't boil it all down to watts, you know? That's what counts for you, but my god, think of your batteries!

    Clones Ethical?

It really depends on the mod. Some out there have plenty of models floating around that may just be sitting there unsold because of clones. But I think the reason that clones are so popular right now has to do with the accessibility of some of the more "popular" high-end mods out there right...

    More Celebs starting to vape....

All I know is that he NAILED Hunter S. Thompson in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. He has my respect for that performance alone. I kinda figured he was suited to the role though.... Also, not gonna say "photoshopped" because even as a graphic designer, I can't prove it based on the photo. But...

What Song Are You Listening To Right Now?

Trip-hop/g-funk, anyone? Vape away, preferably with drink of choice in hand. Sunny afternoons and positive outlooks are optional, but not at all undesirable.

    More Celebs starting to vape....

Haha, I guess there's just no way to make them look cool... ...unless you're lady gaga, apparently. Don't get me wrong, I think advanced systems are cool, but they're alienating to people who don't share our appreciation for their performance. Cig-style rigs do have a certain fashion appeal...

What Song Are You Listening To Right Now?

I don't know what it is about this particular track, but it does have a certain haunting charm to it. This isn't even one of their more noteworthy tracks, but it's definitely one of my favorites. It's so simple and subdued, yet so powerful.

    High Volatage

Lol, right? But seriously, this discussion is new to me, so I'd like to add to it, if I may. Bear in mind that although I do my reading, I vape between 3.5 and 4.2 volts at around 2 ohms of resistance, so I'm not exactly experienced when it comes to the matter at hand. It is my understanding...

    T3 Upgrade?

I hatehateHATE the clear mouthpiece. It looks so gaudy :( It looks even worse on the T3 because it has a clear tank. I can handle the way it looks on something with an opaque tank... I also don't see the point of it, since there's already the evod. Put an evod coil in a T3 and there's not much...

New York Magazine- Smoke Without Fire

I would like to see something out there with the convincing performance, look, and feel of the king with the battery life to make it all day. An e-roll tiny battery/big PCC-style king would be a serious contender... ... perhaps even a true game-changer. I know I would have made the switch a lot...

Any slight health concern with vaping some level of distilled water?

Huh? Neti pots are those things that look like mini watering pots. You fill them with a saline solution, tilt your head to the side, and pour the saline through your sinuses to clear them out. They are the best thing ever for colds and sinus infections. I used to neti occasionally when I smoked...

Leafy cigs in the morning but vape works for me at night...

For me, that first cig in the morning was the last to go. The cravings for that one will probably diminish as you get to vaping more/smoking less during the day. The less you smoke over a given time span, the less you will crave in the future. With that in mind it's always about the ones you...

The protank, Evod, T3, gurgling and flooding solution idea thread.

It seems like once these bottom coils start gurgling, it creates some sort of pressure differential which leads to continual flooding. I have no idea why this happens, but temperature changes do seem to contribute to it somehow. I'm thinking it has something to do with condensation of the juice...
