    Bam-o, the VAMO!

From what I read single battery performance would sag as the battery discharged like the LavaTube. These DC 2.5 cartos need POWER!

    Is this a V3?

Buy another one anyway so you can run in dual 18650 lightsaber mode...lol!

    Bam-o, the VAMO!

My "pink" button unit. Efest 18350 flat top in first then a nipple top. No rattle, the spring is probably compressed almost flat. No heat at the bottom cap running @ 12.5 watts with a DC XL 2.5 ohm in a tank. This is the best device I have for running these power hungry cartos. Love my Vamo!

    Extended vamo!

It takes three extension tubes to run the dual 18650's Doglips. That's what's holding me back!

Smoktech ZMax Owners - Pics., Tips, Tricks and Quirks

Hadn't heard about that jackbox, I've just got a lowly VMax! Thanks for the info. Sounds like something I would fix by soldering in a 510/510 sealed adapter. I did that on a VV box mod I thrashed the threads on, but that's just me.

Glad the carto tank is working out in the dry hit department. The 510 threads are messed up on the ZMax? Can ya send it back under warranty?

Starter kit blu got me thinking...

Get an eGo twist type. You may as well have variable voltage.

    you've spent what?

$1,900 the first year for a savings of $1,200. This year will be about $1,000 spent and $2,100 saved. That's compared to cigarettes by the carton price from two years ago. I know they went up but not how much.

Dual coils seem to plug up quicker with two coils getting gunked up as time goes by. Even with a single coil carto in a tank I use a 510/510 adapter to get more air flow. A DC sure doesn't produce twice the vapor, if any more at all IMO. I think they're harder on batteries because you're...

Ultimate Newbie. Where do I begin?

If you like the ego I'd say get a twist model so you can change the voltage as needed. AltSmoke.com | Personal Vaporizers | Electronic Cigarette | Ecigs | AltSmoke.com | eGo-C Twist Battery

Got My "Kanger T3". Not Impressed

Dry hits out of the box. Leaking after removing one wick. Being a bottom coil I thought the T3 could replaces my carto tanks. Wrong!

    dissapointed

If the Trustfires are IMRs they don't have or need a protection circuit. For IMR batteries I use AW and Efest brands.

    Advice needed

If you want to stay small go with an eGo twist. If you want to go large get a Vamo!

    dissapointed

Time to buy more equipment...LOL! 801 XL fusion cartos work well in carto tanks but are a bit of a pain to pre-fill. Two drops, shake like a thermometer, repeat for 50 drops. And you need a 510/801 adapter. ElectronicStix.Com · 801 Punched Cartomizers ElectronicStix.Com · Battery Adapters

    dissapointed

Vivi nova/ce4 top coil stuff don't wick very well giving dry/burnt hits IMO. It's a fighting gravity thing. I get much better results from carto tanks. Dual Coil 510 Tank Cartomizer I replace the dual coil cartos with XL single coils.

Welcome to ECF! Another vote here for the eGo twist and 3.5ml dual coil tanks. I swap out the dual coil carto for a 2.0 ohm XL single coil though.
