I see no harm in closing it, but either way I think power is needed to burn off the wicks. One of my favorite mods these days for a beater is an istick 100 for $35. Perfect for regular use on a Crown.- sd3614

This is possible, it for sure happens on the TFV4 quad coil on 1st fill. I have never gotten a Crown to flood and I have 5 of them now. I also never close the air vent when filling. Ultimately I do use 80-90VG and outside of break in 80 watts on average. Thin juice, low power "could" cause a flood.- sd3614

Cloupor mini Plus 50W TC
I've used for a bit the 25R in the mini plus, charging with the mod (occasional vaping pass through) and everything has been smooth. I just wish it was 75 watts. -

*UPDATE* Batteries using 540F lasted me about 10 tanks (40ML) & I put a fresh SS Coil in my Crown for some hard testing 100 watts or so on the next set of batteries. I mention this because the new SS coil gave no fluke temp option like the old SS coil. So expect only Ni for temp control 100%... -

Can you lock in the resistance while in TC? It has the "new atty yes/no?" which sets the base resistance. I expected to see the resistance bouncing around once warmed up, but it doesn't. So it's adjusting temp off the initial ohm reading. Can the wattage be changed in TC or is it fixed? Yes/No...
