    I had the same problem with the Tsaf. It ttok a bit of practice for each guage wire to get it as strong as it needs to be. There are 4 dip switch settings to figure out for your proper setting.

    I bought one of his first ones. He might have added the charging port to his current models.Don't know just ask him. He's easy and fast to reply.

    I bought the tsaf thinking i could use one of my mini usb cords to charge it. Not the case. I have to remove the battety to charge. No big deal you can make many joins on a full batt.

    I'm using 30ga. pure nickel and a-1 Kanthal .5x1mm ribbon. Both came from Kidney Puncher. I later got 2mm ekowool form the same.

    I am joining with a Tsaf so I can't say about twisting. I have used on normal silica compared to eko but the taste was as good as round. Honestly I have thought about the fact it is this old maybe I should recoil to test. Then again both Ithakas are wrapped the same only one is 1 is a week older...

    Yes with 2mm ekowool just torched prior to wrapping ribbon wire. I was thinking of trying the Twix but don't see a need to.I'm not easy to please but this is doing a great job of it.

    Today is day 14 on the first dual coil in Ithaka. A dry burn after every tank[one a day] equals 56ml. And still tastes,vapes great. Ya I'm sold. Doing just as well on Oddy's just not used as much.

    One size is a-1 kanthal.5 flat ribbon and the other is 34awg kanthal.

    I measured one of mine and found 2.9mm for just the shaft no brass[alloy] nut.

    Are you using a juice calculator? If you are there might be an area for adding water or pga[pur grain alcohol] which you add a percentage of how much to add. I happen to use 12% with a 40pg/60vg mix.

    No trick other than annealing the resistance wire prior to wrapping the coil. Not wound to tight[not me] as to choke the wick.

    I have been using the hollow and don't see how it can get any better. However I am willing to try. I'll have to place an order and see if it is better I guess. Unless someone has more info on the subject.

    Could be your wires but should be enough room with twisted wires. I am also using ribbon wire now welded with Tsaf. I think you can make the duals with 2mm Ekowool and twisted wires as there is room for the joined pieces.Good luck to ya.
