    Glass syringes are afraid of nothing we use in diy. No rubber or plastic involved. Cost more but will not fail unless they meet a tile floor. Seen it happen not by me.I used to have bags of disposables now just 1,3,5,10ml glass.

    Glass pipette question

    Good choice Jfaria on the 2ml pump. The same one I use only with glass 5ml pipettes. Works great and I have one tube cut off in half for a smaller tube/pump length. I also use the same for vg by snapping off the tip of the pipette a little bit.The vg will not flow thru the pipette very well...

    I've only done 1 single and 1 dual coil and yes using the same ohm's and loving them both. I also am using eckowool with both and all great so far.

    Ribbon is available at COV as well as many other larger places. I highly suggest you find it. Five days in on the first single coil with about 15ml. thru it using 20/80 pg/vg. With five dry burns and the best taste yet and no signs of needing to change it other then wanting to try a dual coil.

    I agree fully with this choice but i have to say the ss post upgrade is not a good choice. The original brass posts have far better power to your coil. I wouldn't say it if I did not find it to be true.:2c:

    Like Watt is saying the hiss is from the coil meeting something which is cooling it or stopping it from heating up. A totally dry coil will not hiss just glow.

    I bought some but the size I wound up with is very thin. I would have to braid it to make it useable. I bought hemp at the same time and enjoy the taste and durability to be good as well.

    Something for you to look at is the the Penelope by GG. It is very pocket friendly,will never leak. It is silica wick by design but some have used/use mesh. Not easy to find but their out there. I have had mine going on 2 years and still love it and use it.

    annealed kanthal? Is it different from reg A1 Kanthal?

    I anneal my coils to make wrapping and joining nr/r/nr easier. And in the process cleans it completely. Even if you don't "anneal" it prior to make your coil it will be annealed after your first burst of power on the dry coil.
