Good point. If the bottles were steeping after sealed, the mint would be totally gone - but - the mint is still there, because the steeping process has been all but stopped due to oxidation.
All of our liquid benefits from additional steep time... but that additional steep time doesn't begin until the bottle is open and oxygen is allowed to steep.
I think you did a fine job of explaining this for everyone's benefit. In our experience, the steeping process is vastly different in amber brown glass bottles as compared to our old LDPE plastic bottles. One of the big reasons we changed bottles is that it results in a more consistent product...

Ironically enough this situation is more common than you might think... even other "premium" liquids take short-cuts. That said, there are some who swear they can't vape Nicoticket, so, it's subjective I guess.
