Here's an idea I've pitched to a few folks as well - think of a food truck, but sell vape gear and juice from it. You can have regular spots where you stay on certain days, and cover special events (concerts, sports, etc)... a mobile vape shop.
I love me the convenience of a brick and mortar, and happily pay for that convenience.
A good sampling area is key. We have some good ones here in the Valley, but honestly, the best one I've ever been to was in a Vaporescence in San Antonio. Here's some pictures from my visit that'll...
Awesome. Sunny and I will be there, and I'm bringing a pal from work who got his VTR last week.
*edit: whoops, wrong thread. We'll be at the CENTRAL meet!
Well, the one by Tokyo Express on Camelback was closed when we got there at about 11, but it was called Vape Central. They have a foosball table in there, I could see it through the glass.
Then we went to Vapor Etc at 16th and Bethany Home, and it's a cool little shop. Took some pix, talked up...
Yep, that's the one. There's also one that opened up next to Tokyo Express on Camelback around 10th, gonna hit them both on Friday to scope 'em out and tell them about VIP.
Great to hear about Adam getting involved with the group!
Been there a few times, they were the first B&M in our neck of the woods to stock the Innokin VV v3's that Sunny's so fond of. It's mostly hookah and head, but the vape gear they have is better than your average selection and priced reasonably. Their house juice is only 15mg, but they rep for a...
Fasttech has iClear16's for 3 bucks a pop, so I have 15 of those coming for Sunny. Also a coupla Twists (12 bucks!) and a cheapie RBA that I hear works well on REOs. Plus, I have an MVP2 en route from a contest over on reddit, that should be showing up next week.
Check out craft/hobby shops like Michaels or Hobby Barn, and also places that sell essential oils and stuff like that. There's also a chemical supply house out in Tempe somewhere that sells lab glass and such, I bet they'd have dropper bottles too.
I turned my back on the NHL after their season-long lockout in 2004. They don't want my money, fine. I stopped giving it to them. I do love the sport though and was deliriously happy when the Roadrunners resurfaced in the ECHL. Wish we had them back.
Sunny and I most likely won't make this one - we're playing in the APA Tri-cities tournament in Mesa next weekend, if we go deep into the tourney we'll be out there both days. Hope you guys have a great meet and we'll catch back up with ya in October!
You can get VG at Sprout's for 9 bucks per 240ml in the skin care section, and PG at CVS from the pharmacist for about the same. Flavors from ABC Cake Supply on Indian School.
Right on. Zikwid used to host comedy nights at the Lounge on Bell, but it's been many moons since the last one. It's a fun turnaround, as the guy on stage is the only one not vaping.
We played for those guys a few years back, but they're all hung up on prize money instead of trophies. We're in the American Poolplayer's Association now.
I'll see if we can check it out sometime this weekend or next - we'll be out of town during the week itself. Half Moon is right across the street from where Ed Debevic's used to be - pity that place is gone, it woulda been perfect for us. Fun place, sassy help, good food, and a huge banquet hall...
