i've very limited experience w/ RDTAs, none of it good. Others will be able to advise you better than i about good ones but i have heard that StemCrave's Aromamizer Supreme v.3 is excellent. Plenty of folks build coils & plenty drip. Personally, i use pre-built RTA/RDA coils because i'm clumsy & not too bright. i use drippers sometimes, mostly to test new e-liquid mixes, sometimes just for the Hell of it because i like variety in my vaping experiences. Aspire no longer distributes to the USA. Online vendors in Mainland China & Europe may carry Aspire products. Tolerance for nic depends on the person & on their smoking history. 12 or 18mg is generally fine for most people using MTL or RDL. You're unlikely to be disappointed w/ PnP-X coils.- MLEJ
