I can't imagine being "offended' exactly, but I am a little sad that vaping has developed such a tacky aesthetic in general.
If I wasn't a vaper myself, I'd probably assume that 99% of them were dumpy, semi-literate, barely employed men who've never had a girlfriend, never been...
I've never used the Evod, but I know they're extremely popular.
I'd start a thread in the New Members forum, and put the word "Evod" in the title. I'm sure lots of people will chime in with good advice.
Greetings from a neighbor in Maine - and welcome to ECF!
:)
Just think how nice it'll be when you can vape indoors in December, rather than going outside and freezing your .... off with the smokers.
I rewick every other day, but I never go below 1 ohm, so that might nor be relevant at all.
If it was me, and I was inhaling a lot of burnt cotton -------> <------- I think I'd either up the resistance or switch to something like silica.
I think they're adorable - and yes: super stealthy. (Smaller, even, than the Micro-Stick I think?)
:)
If you do decide to buy one, please post a review.
And welcome to ECF!
Well, there's your answer then.
If you need help building to a saner resistance, try this:

I'm afraid I'm not following you here.
Smoking really IS bad for you, and really DOES create second-hand contaminants. All that's well known. Vaping, on the other hand, reduces harm to the user, and poses no danger to those around him.
How could it possibly make sense to...
Neither ecigs nor Obama were even on the radar in 1999, OP.

Could you be thinking of the Family Smoking Prevention Act of 2009?

I'm into flavor rather than clouds. My favorite RDA is the Origen, and I generally do one or two cotton macro coils with a resistance somewhere between 1.2 and 1.5. I use 26 or 28 kanthal, depending on the number of coils. I'm a big fan of vertical coil drippers, and will definitely shell out...
So glad to hear that it's working for you guys! Congratulations, and thanks for the update!

When it comes to ejuice companies, I think you'll find that opinion is extremely divided, and that people can be weirdly passionate about their faves. Mount Baker has a gazillion fans, and...
Hello, MMSD64.
:)
When I first started DIY, about three months ago, I also found my usual nicotine percentage way too strong. I thought I must be making a mistake somewhere, so I asked about it in this forum. The answers I got were very interesting...
1. What is a typical range of total flavor percentage you use in DIY?
Between 7% and 9%.
2. What brand(s) of flavors do you use the most?
Flavour Art and Inawera
3. What pg/VG ratio
80PG/20VG
4. What device and power level do you vape?
RDAs (the Origen is my all-time favorite) on...
I've been mixing since the end of May, and I've now got five recipes I make regularly. This bunch I do like just as much as I liked my old favorites from Highbrow, so I'm actually quite proud of them.
:)
I'm saving lots of money, but, perhaps somewhat surprisingly, I now have way more...
I've found it easiest to mix up several 60ml glass bottles of PG/VG/nic base at a time, and to keep these on hand to use as needed. Larger bottles bugged me because I had a hard time measuring from them with a syringe.
:)
Have fun, OP! DIY is awesome.
